I also would add their customer service was excellent as I had to return my original purchase for a size larger. I will surely continue to purchase from Troy Lee Designs.

Full Face great product, great fit and has great comfort
I've been using the D3 Carbon Helmet for the last 5 years and it was time to retire that helmet and get a new one. The D4 was the obvious choice for me and I am blown away with how well it vents and how light it is.
It’s comfortable, lightweight, great looking. Very happy with my purchase.
The very first ride with this helmet the d4 matrix camo I slid out and a massive chunk of paint fell off and more recently the paint under the visor is chipping and flaking offAnd today my helmet fell off a bench onto a mat on the ground and it made a dent and a bunch of paint chipped off (1.5 feet off the ground) if the paint didn't fall off I would love this helmet but I can't belive I spent this much on a helmet just for the paint to fall off

It wasn't easy to improve upon the class-leading design and function of the D3 helmet, but Troy Lee Designs made it happen. Built with an aerospace shell design and materials, they were able to get the D4 Composite helmet to 1050 grams without sacrificing any strength. MIPS C2 protection system is used to add an additional layer of safety in the event of a fall. For comfort, the D4 Comp routes cooling air through a front air intake system that flows through the polymer center and power grid side mesh keeping your head cooler during the ride. X-static and XT2 anti-microbial/anti-odor padding keep the inside of the helmet a much nicer place to be.
