These bags were a bit of a surprise, but a good one. They are comfortable to wear and great sizes. The medium size was perfect as a pool bag, the small one was just right to hold an iPhone, sunglasses, and a wallet when I did not want to carry a purse, and the large one was great for packing. I didn’t have any need to string them together. The shape makes them especially easy to hang off my shoulder and the zipper placement allows easy access without dumping everything out.

Took them on a 22-day trip--airplane and car travel--to many states in US. (Also used a couple of conventional rectangular packing cubes.) Liked the pods a lot! Had only two occasions to use the hanging feature---but it was super!! They hold a LOT more than they appear. Surprising how they actually snuggle next to each other into a conventional (TravelPro) suitcase, and aren't really a "weird"shape after all. Love the fabric; great zippers!; maybe slightly "overbuilt" for their job, but I can imagine different scenarios to use all that... The little pod is a bit too small to be very useful -- hence my 4 stars vs 5. Would like to be able to buy individual ones, especially the middle size.

These packing cubes are great and I think I will be using them a lot. I love the way you can hang them up. Just a couple of things. I wish they were sold separately as I really could do with another small one. Also when you try to put the strap on to use as a bag,(which I would find very useful) it is very stiff to attach the strap, after you get it on, it is even harder to take it off! They are made of very strong material and I can fit a lot in them!

I have been living out of a duffel bag for a while now and these packing pods are a godsend. They keep me super organized, and the ability to hang them in a bunch of different ways is incredibly useful. I just wish I could buy individual pods.
I am getting ready to travel to Costa Rica for a couple weeks and am a notorious over-packer! I try to minimize but have come to realize that it's just not something I can do. I only want to bring a small suitcase with me, so I bought these pods to see if that can help. In the large pod I am able to get seven pair of shorts, five skirts and two pair of pants. In the medium pod I was able to get five t-shirts and seven tank tops. I haven't tried the small pod yet and plan on using that for toiletries. I will definitely be able to get everything into a small suitcase with these!
I am so glad I got these travel pods as I am going to Thailand and want to be able to pack as much as I can in the bestPossible way. I believe this will happen when I go. I am very happy with the quality. I would recommend this product if you you want to pack a lot in a small space.
I was meh about getting the "classic" packing cubes because when I tried a friends they were just okay. But since I was going on a 3 week trip to Asia I needed something. The different shape and the ability to see all the items (as the clothes stand upright when open) appealed. Still thanking my lucky stars I decided to try them! My travel group ended up not staying more than ONE NIGHT in each hotel we stayed in and these cubes kept me from having to repack every. single. morning. It was a great trip, but I would have lost a part of my mind without these babies (like my mother). I may be getting some for her soon.
I travel loads in the UK. Glamping at the coast, attending Scottish Opera, roadying at Edinburgh Free Fringe. Once packed the Trtl pods do not need to be unpacked. Have hung them to save space. Clothes stay unwrikled and fresh. Winners all round!
I just returned from a week-long trip using these. I have rolled my clothes to pack for travel for years, so when I saw these pods they seemed like a natural fit. I was able to fit most of my clothing into the 3 pods, and this allowed me to use a much smaller travel bag than usual. I hung the pods in the closet on arrival, so "unpacking" was fast. It was easy to see and pull out my clothing choices each day. The pods seem well constructed and I like the options for compressing and hanging them. I am so pleased, I will definitely be picking up another set, which I expect will take care of the "extras" - bathing suits, workout wear, sweaters - that didn't fit into the first set. One thing - it would be nice to be able to buy the pods individually as well.
I found them to be very useful. They did all that they claimed they could do and allowed me to fit more stuff into a small gym bag, the only piece of serious luggage I took with me on a cross-continent trip. The bags seem to be sturdy. The hanging function worked well.
