True Love by Elizabeth Arden Eau De Toilette Spray 50ml

This is very floral but not overwhelming. It's sophisticated scent. A great spring to summer fragrance. Very soft and romantic. At first spray it comes off strong but dissipates into a deep floral dry down. Always remember when purchasing scents, that your body chemistry has a lot to do with how the product is going to smell. You must wait for the dry down to get an accurate scent.

I love this cologne for my husband. It's the PERFECT smell that you WANT your man to smell like. The packaging is simple but classy and manly at the same time. The price is extremely fair and very affordable. The smell lasts all day long. This cologne has been a favorite for many years. When my husband walks into a room after putting some of this on and I smell him it sends a sense of pleasure and lust right through me. I will never get tired of smelling this on him. This will always be one of his classic go to colognes. I would absolutely recommend this and I will also purchase this again in the future many times.

Great for Allergy Sufferers and Babies

I'm so glad I bought it and that I can find it here. I have hayfever and allergies that can be triggered by strong scents BUT I will NEVER GIVE UP Perfume- I hate stinking and stinkers lol. I have like 18 different unopened bottles in my bottom drawer and 5 open ones on rotation. What a beautiful bottle this has! The box is lovely white with gold ribbon trimming. Very minimalist. It is a comforting scent, gives you a feeling of well being. You could wear it and hold a baby and not upset it. I used it in the summer and carried it in my handbag and I looked forward to going to the bathroom. It is one of those fragrances that you notice when you are within distance of someone like Dahlia Noir or the Bvlgaris but doing just as hard a job. The bottle is beautiful with gold, white , pink and I pull it out of my handbag with a flourish and anticipation. The picture makes it look clear but there is a lovely salmon pink.Some say old lady's fragrance, I can kinda get why because it's not a bright purple/red/purple celebrity perfume but old school design and trimmings and not a heady beat-you-over-the head perfume. It is always between 8 -10 pounds for 100ml. I'm grateful for that and I am adding to my stockpile. This site is a perfume junky's paradise!

Mixed emotions!

Love ordering from Escentual, easy to use website.This Elizabeth Arden Eau de Toilette spray initially smells lovely but after a very short while loses it smell compared to other EDT by Elizabeth Arden. It has a summer, clean, not overly floral fragrance. I enjoy wearing it but keep topping up throughout the day.The thing that lets this product down is that there is no Elizabeth Arden name/logo on the box or bottle. It doesn't seem as good a quality as other EA fragrances. I am sure it is genuine however, I do wonder if this is why it was priced as it was. It does need mentioning on the website description of this EA error. I wouldn't give it as a gift.

Old stock- this is not new production

Old stock—-almost positive this is old inventory that would have been sold at Perfumania stores at most malls.Elizabeth Arden did not bring back from a scent last sold 25 years ago.Old perfumes have a distinct scent.So many malls closed along with those stores so they are moving old inventory at Walmart.

I can not seem to comprehend the decision to discontinue production. I do agree with one review, this formula has changed since the earliest release. Those slight changes were made to allow the EDT* to be continued for the small but strong percentage of loyal true lovers. The EDP* is the best you can still get today but you have to search for this in the discount houses. And then be on your toes when there is a cache discovered, take out a loan and buy all that is available. Like the name True Love for this scent is exactly that.
