Thought vegan85 was great, but this is just delightfully smooth and so creamy! I’ve been using the Vanilla without any milks (normally vegan85 with milks) and it’s so rich. Been enjoying it on its own or mixed in my morning oat bowls Well done on this one True Protein! only thing I wish is that the macros were a bit sharper like the other protein powders but this does make a solid meal replacement.

If somebody gave this to me and didn't tell me it was plant protein, I would 100% think it is Whey! It mixed so well, there was no grainy taste or chunks at the bottom of my shake. It tastes thick and creamy, flavour is unbelievably good and sits well in the belly - no bloating! I feel like I have tried every plant protein available and while some are good they're never smooth, creamy AND taste good. True Protein ticks all the boxes with this one! Can not wait to try all the flavours.

I find True Plant Protein too sickly sweet for me (even just adding water). I thought I’d get used to it by the end of the packet but have stopped using it because it’s very sugary and hard for me to stomach. I was a big fan of Vegan85 which had a much milder taste and paired well with bananas in smoothies but adding anything remotely sweet to this Plant Protein makes it all too sweet and heavy.I’ve also noticed there are less servings in a bag compared to Vegan85 (I think you used to get 33 serves per bag but with Plant Protein you only get 25) and you need quite of a lot of powder to get a full serve in.I’m sad to say I’m pretty disappointed in the new Plant Protein and was hoping it would be a good plant based alternative. I hope they bring Vegan85 back.
It was a great tasting, very smooth experience, for someone who does not really enjoy plant protein normally (not because I dislike plant protein, but because of the inherent weird taste of plant proteins), it was great! Hands down the best tasting plant protein I've tried so far!I was game enough to try the natural one on its own as well, it was definitely tolerable! You could tell it was plant protein, but it's not yuck or anything!Good one True Protein!!
This is the best protein powder I’ve ever tasted. I was sceptical when i saw that vegan 85 had been replaced by a new product that was more expensive and a smaller bag size. But I had a voucher so decided to give it a go. I bought both the rich chocolate and the vanilla flavours. So far I’ve only tried the chocolate, and it is delicious. It doesn’t taste vegan at all, it tastes creamy and sweet and as my son described it, like a chocolate milkshake (we make it mixed with milk, I use soy milk and my son uses dairy milk). So good, i can’t wait to try the vanilla flavour. Definitely recommend!
True’s plant protein is a versatile, high quality vegan protein. The texture is smooth however I did find the banana bread flavour needed a it more blending than the other two. As for taste, banana is perfect - not too unnatural and easy to pair with other ingredients. Vanilla is my favourite which is surprising because usually vanilla can be quite bland however this French vanilla goes well as a yogurt/smoothie bowl with some fresh fruit. The “rich” chocolate needs to be a tad bit “richer” however but still delicious. Let’s be honest I’ve got all three in rotation right nowAs for tummy comfort, amazing. Not as bloating as other proteins and with the added probiotics it’s one less tablet I have to take a day!
This is most yummy protein I’ve ever tasted! Been looking for a new plant based protein that tasted good, as I found protein powders were mostly bland tasting and gritty. I was recommended True from my trainer and decided to try the new plant protein. I was surprised by how good it tasted. Doesn’t bloat me and goes well in my banana protein pancakes and shakes! Love the fact that this is Australian company too.

I liked the original vegan protein powder and was disappointed that it was discontinued. But when I tried the free sample, I was sold! I use it in my porridge for breakfast, but my favourite is as desert with a bit of almond milk and blue berries! It is unbelievably smooth and tastes like an indulgent chocolate mousse!
