The TTArtisan AF 35 mm f/1.8 Mark II lens for Sony E-Mount cameras combines optical precision with robust construction. With a focal length of 35 mm, equivalent to 53 mm on full-frame cameras, this lens approaches the perspective of the human eye and is versatile for street photography, landscapes, portraits, and everyday documentation. Made from 5052 aircraft aluminum, the all-metal design offers high durability while weighing only 176 grams for comfortable extended use. The optical design includes 7 groups with 10 lenses, featuring 2 high-refractive elements and 2 elements with particularly low dispersion, which minimize chromatic aberration and maintain image sharpness. A maximum aperture of f/1.8 allows for excellent performance in low light and creates pleasing background blur for clear subject separation. The minimum focusing distance of 0.4 meters enables detailed close-ups of subjects such as food, crafts, and everyday scenes. Autofocus performance is enhanced by an STM and lead screw stepper motor, providing quiet, smooth operation with detection capabilities for eyes, animals, and vehicles. A Type-C port on the rear lens cap supports firmware updates and image stabilization functions for improved shooting stability in videos. The silver finish complements camera designs, while the compact dimensions ensure portability for travel and daily photography needs. This successor model retains the practical functionality of a standard prime lens while integrating refined optical and mechanical improvements.
