Tubolito S-Tubo CX/Gravel Tube 700x30-47/42mm
This inner tube features a very small packed size, making it an ideal spare for all 700c and 650B tyres from 30mm-47mm width. Thanks to its extra durable design, it can also be used on a daily basis which means that it's not just limited to being a spare tube. Coming equipped with a high-quality thermoplastic elastomer (TPU) material, this model is twice as tough at the puncture test in comparison to a traditional standard inner tube. Given its low rolling resistance and 64% lighter design, it can also become the decisive advantage at competitions. Another highlight is leftovers of tubeless liquids do not do any harm to it, which gives it extra reliability on your cyclocross (CX) or gravel bike ride. Compatible with disc brakes.

I was very worried to get flat since this thing is so thin and light, but looks I am worried too much, I put a set, front and rear, with new GP5000 30mm tire, including two 110 km long-distance and others in the city, no flat. And also the point is you can ride a whole week no need to add air!Very happy for them.

Tiny and lightweight, seemingly hard wearing and in my use had no punctures and packed down really well again. Had to use this on a gravel ride when a tyre sidewall suffered a double puncture. Tube lasted the remaining 50k of the gravel ride with no punctures, then folded back down to its original size to use again next time.Expensive, but saves significant size and weight which is helpful for bike packing and carrying extra kit.

Purchased as these take up less than half the space of a regular tube, so easier to pack more in a saddle bag. Had to use one on a recent gravel ride when a snake bite puncture in the tyre wall wouldn’t seal, leaving me 50k to go with a tube and on some rough tracks.Tube held up superbly, and even better rolled back into its former tiny shape for use another day.Expensive but seem more robust than a regular tube, and save weight and space for bike packing

I've been using these in my bike for about 1K kilometers this summer. So far the results are good, the weight difference between these and regular tubes is the difference btw alloy and carbon rims. Flats have been about the same and are much easier to fix. I've been riding repaired tubes with no issues. I did have one quality control issue, a leak near the stem in a brand new tube. Ride seems smoother and I am running the tires at slightly lower pressures w/o pinch flat issues. Both flats have been road glass in the tire that would puncture any tube.So if the weight difference for $30 more per tube sounds good to you, I can recommend these tubes. Do check them after purchase.
These are very lightweight and very compact. This (much smaller than regular) tube will be part of my emergency kit for urban/gravel riding. They seem perfect for emergency use (i.e. to get home after a flat); I’m not sure I’d trust them for regular use.
So, I wanted to travel with my bike and saw these as a good way to get what was supposed to be great ride quality and improved puncture resistance in a tube. I normally ride tubeless, but that's quite messy when traveling. Well, one tube split at a seem inside the tire before even being ridden, and the second one was punctured by a tiny thorn in the first few miles of the first ride. I was so furious that I just tossed them all in the trash and bought normal tubes while on vacation. Don't waste your time or money.
These are controversial because of cost and early problems. If you read reviews on seller sites, you'll find many negative comments up through around mid 2019. If you go to cycling forums, you'll see more balanced comments. I believe the criticism: I suspect it took this company a long time to achieve reliable consistent manufacturing. In my experience, Ithink they have.I have 4 of these for 2 bikes. One set are the 700 x 30-40 for my bike with 700c tires. Have over 400 miles. No flats. Of course, I run the tires at about 35 psi so I am less likely to get flats. There is no appreciable air "seepage". No more than butyl tubes, maybe less. I also have the ultra lite version meant only as spares: these have also been flawless on my 650b wheel bike.I saved about ... MoreThese are controversial because of cost and early problems. No objective answer. They are crazy expensive as tubes. On the other hand, compared to other ways to save 1/2 pound--carbon fiber rims, carbon fiber cranks (there are lots of other carbon fiber parts like stems, handlebars, seatposts, but you won't save 1/2 pound)--they are much cheaper. BTW, there is no validity to the theory that rotating mass matters more. Mass is mass and less is ok though won't affect normal humans' cycling speed.Do they have less rolling resistance? Impossible for a normal, even very precise person to tell. A test site says they have less resistance than normal butyl and more than latex. I guess I believe that. Certainly there can't be more resistance. I like how they feel. I had a pair of very inexpensive, thick butyl tubes that felt "stiff". These feel better. Can't say you'll really notice anything.I have not had to fix a flat. Some reviews say the special Tubolito patches won't stick. Other reviews say that even the Park instant patches work fine. I suspect that if one is mountain biking in the woods during a drizzle (not me!) it would be nearly impossible to get the tube bone dry before attaching the patch. Also, instant patches aren't instant--they still require 5 minutes for the glue to cure. So, other reviews say mixed experience. I am not looking forward to finding out. I carry a butyl tube as a spare (so much for the weight savings!). Then, I'll fix the flat tube carefully at home.
Tiny, easy to pack, and is said to be better than Butyl tubes. Can't argue with the weight reduction. These feel feather light!
Super light tube, carry as a spare but can use all the time as well, have used these since they first came out and they are the best, make your clinchers feel like tubulars..
Great tubes! Way lighter than the butyl ones. Hold air very well (only adding air about once every 2 weeks). Have been using them predominantly on gravel and a bit in the city for about 6 months now and the rolling resistance is appreciably down. No punctures yet, so can't comment on repairability. Would highly recommend them as an easier and less messy alternative to tubeless.
