The initial problem I had was installing a deck over ground full of underground services such as Gas, water, telecommunications, mains power and a main sewer. I was put on toy TuffBlocks and used the website and applied them to the job. The block are light and simple to place and as my soil has rocky spots I used a grout bed to seat the blocks in position. The block has provision for a bearer to sit into them as well as the stumps I have used. The TuffBlock as yo can see has a small low footprint avoiding the issues you get around access and stairs. Amateurish builder that I am and not able to concrete, but looks great and makes me look like a professional. Easy to use and looks great.
