The unit is too flimsy and hard to put together. It took me ages to get it stable enough to move it to where I wanted it because the walls kept coming apart. It also falls apart easily when you turn the compost or from the weight of the material. Avoid bumping it too. I have had to empty it and put it back together a few times, which is very frustrating. I could not be bothered cleaning it for a refund. I will probably work out a way to brace the sides and secure the weak joints. Don't waste your money on this poorly designed bin. The plastic is similar to ice cream container material, just a tad thicker. Buy a bin that has thicker walls and better ways of holding the walls together, preferably with bolts through thick plastic. There wasn't one on display and I know ... I have been using this for approximately a year now… and really wishing these reviews were around when I purchased it.Pretty much everything everyone else has said, flimsy and cheap! I hand zap straps holding the sides of mine together atm and the bottom door is now bottom is now broken. I will say be throwing this out and upgraded.*also do to being on the ground with no base I have found it’s the prefect home for mice.

I bought this and still use it - but I curse it every time I do! It falls apart, the door/window thing falls out, it just never works properly. It’s also now all bent out of shape from the sun and heat (it’s less than 6 months old and was kept in the shade). As soon as a find another option this one is going in the garbage.

Completely frustrating!I have been trying for more than an hour and can't even get three sides to stay together, and I am no newcomer to assembling flat packs.Need to be an octopus with multiple clamps to hold each of the slots in place as you wrestle to put the next side and set of slots together. They just keep popping out. Tried to put this together by myself, but failed. You need at least 2 people to hold it together while assembling. One of those people needs VERY strong hands. We found the YouTube video and as previously reported, it shows only a glimpse of putting the top clip together. At least, the video showed us the position of clips, as there were noinstructions in the pack. My husband and I finally got it assembled after 40 minutes. The product itself is quite good once you get it together, but prepare yourself for the frustration. Appears to be good value for money compared with other compost bins on offer. Good size for clippings from a medium sized lawn. Hopefully, it will last 5-10 years.
This product should only be purchased and assembled by persons handy with a drill and cable ties. These are necessary to hold the tabs in place. While the drill and cable ties are out of the cupboard, consider using these to form a hinge between the lid and body, then a handle on the other side.
Product difficult to assemble but then once assembled, the design is too weak to contain compost. The bin comes apart at the joins at the slightest turning of material. I had to reassemble unit and refill with half broken down compost (kitchen and garden waste) yesterday which was not fun and frankly. I half suspected that I would have issues with this product when I bought it but there were no other choices available at the time (at a very large Bunnings I might add) and I was happy to pay more for a quality product. This is a pattern I have noticed across various garden product ranges - lack of choice and only cheap options on offer. Bunnings is not my go to for garden products anymore.
I didn't have too much trouble putting this together. We had it for about 2 months before Rats crewed through the plastic one night. Now there is a giant hole in the side and they dig out all the compost every night and make a mess. Definitely won't be buying this again. This never happened with my previous, more expensive bins.
I haven’t had a chance to try it in the garden yet as I literally just got it today.It was pretty easy to assemble overall, moderately awkward at first but it only took about 15 minutes max by myself. That said, the lid doesn’t fit… it’s too big by far and I’ll need to find a rock to put on it so it doesn’t blow away by tomorrow!I liked the concept with the removable panel at the bottom, which is why I chose this design. Time will tell how it holds up.
It's flimsy, even when full I thought the weight would hold it together but the joins pop open. Try joining them together again while you're hugging a full bin! Fun!!!! The lid also blows off in the wind. The side panel/doors are all fake/decoration except for one so you can't access the ready compost from all sides like the more premium models. Much regret.
