I haven't used it yet!I have been using Tumi luggage for at least 8 years and I haven't had a problem with any piece.My older Tumi pieces are soft luggage. After having my designer bags crushed during a trip via airplane.... I had to get a hard case!!! I've been watching for a while, Tumi is pricey! But I feel I got a good deal 20% off and used my loyalist bucks.

I haven’t used it yet, but I have been using Tumi bags for 40 years. I love thé color, and the 22” size is just right. It is roomy compared to one I purchased during the Anniversary sale last year, which was much smaller. I ultimately returned that one. I have always enjoyed the wheels and telescoping mechanism that Tumi uses on their roller bags, and have never had any complaints about their suitcases.

I love my new TUMI suitcase. I travel every week and it is the perfect size for my over-packing habit when I go on long weekend trips! Easily fits waaay too many clothes for a weekend or even a week, but is still the perfect size to keep you right around the 50# weight limit that exists on most domestic flights in the USA.Also, the bearings in the wheels are FAR superior to anything I've ever tried before, the suitcase glides like a hot knife through butter, and not butter from the fridge, a hot knife through room-temperature butter.The only thing I was a bit disappointed with is how easily the finish seems to be scuffed. After my first destination in Singapore, it’s been downhill. Every single flight this has been on (whether international or domestic) it gets new severe dents and scratches with the silver casing. Where the silver has scratched off has shown rust at this point. For the price, it shouldn’t dent like aluminum foil. The monogramming was a nice touch, but that doesn’t protect my items inside of the suitcase. My suitcase looks as if I’ve had it for a lifetime when it’s only been a 1 year.
I bought this new for a weeklong trip. It was the perfect size.Unfortunately, someone else bought the exact same one, and managed to take mine from baggage claim by accident. Find a way to distinguish yours from the next person’s new Tumi! Otherwise, it’s great.
I’ve just received 26 inch packing case. I found that the overall size of this case is smaller than my other two 26 inch packing cases (other brands). So I checked the size. Including the wheels, from the bottom to the highest part of the body, the size is barely 25 inch. Other than the size of the body, other functions seem to be good. I do not decide whether I would like to return this or not, but the size seems to be smaller than described or the size is not accurately described (not know what are included for 26 inches? Handle?)
It's a nice suitcase. BUT, I am very disappointed that it does not have a grab handle on the bottom. This is a huge suitcase (130L) and will be very heavy when full. You would think for such an expensive high-end suitcase that it would have the grab handle. I'm very disappointed with that and next time will look closer and go with a different company.
Not durable at all... Full of scratches after the first use. On the second use, the tag broke off. Business class priority checked luggage made no difference if the bags can not stand up to the ruff and tumble of the airports badge handling systems.I'm a fan of Tumi but the quality is lacking on this product. Now I wished I'd spent the extra money on a RimowaI also wished it wheels locked when it's on an incline. Nothing worst than a rollaway bag when travelling.
