Used this spray as a pre-wash for The front end of my RV trailer. The front picks up a lot of bugs as I roll down the highway through the vest egg fields of California on my way to Santa Barbara. So before I washed down the trailer, I spray the whole front end and then wait about five minutes before hosing, washing, rinsing and waxing. It does the job! Unlike other foaming products, this one put out a nice spray stream. I could not imagine trying to do this job with foam

I bought this specifically to remove a dollop of gum from a tree. It was baked on by the sun onto the plastic vent below the windscreen. No amount of scrubbing could move it. After a couple of squirts of Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover and letting it soak in for about 5 min the gum was almost all off after a scrub with a brush. A bit more scrubbing and scraping with my fingernail and it was all off with no evidence it ever existed.

This stuff is awesome!I apparently hit a big patch of road tar which made a huge mess on a set of OE aluminum rims and areas behind the wheels.I have a couple preferred brands for my other car detailing products. So, I tried those first. Neither ‘premium’ brand’s Bug&Tar remover broke down the tar well enough to really get this stuff off my car. One left a nasty oil slick type mess. Tutlrewax Bug & Tar remover worked amazingly well. This stuff doeas a great job of really loosening up tar and bug guts so that they can be wiped away. It’s very strong, but did not affect my OE Dodge aluminum rims and did not leave any sort of oily residue.My cars are my hobby. I’m sort of a geek when it comes to detailing my cars. The last bottle I got worked so well this is my second bottle. We live in the south so bugs are constantly getting smashed on its windshield ,so our car requires serious strength to try clean. This does a great job. Love this stuff. The front fender is worse of all. This does the job well!! Definitely get two bottles to start with!!!
I used the Turtle wax bug and tar remover after they paved the road leading to my house. There was some tar that got on the side of my 2024 Toyota Camry and I needed to get it off. . I bought the product because I trust the brand and it really did the job ! It was quick and easy. Just spray on , wait a minute and wipe it off , worked just as promised! I would recommend this to anybody that needs tar removed ..
Use an old towel and follow the instructions. Don't wipe the smudge bugs and tar off too soon. Let it soak a few minutes. After a 6,350 mile round trip from Oregon through Arizona to other side of south Texas, driving half the trip at night, I had innumerable insects smashed and dried hard on my car upon return. After an hour or two, I cleaned the whole exterior to include the road grime and I was pleased with my new showroom look. I am buying another bottle as I write this. Good stuff and the price is right.
Three stars because I bought this product to get sap off of my car. Yes the sap had been on there for two weeks and this worked a little better than goo gone but it still requires an incredible amount of elbow Greece I don’t think a person over the age of 40- something may not have the strength needed to get the bare minimum results. I got the bare minimum results after following the instructions on the bottle exactly. Using a microfiber cloth it took a lot of power and repetitiveness to get away SOME of the marks. Finger nails and arms were killing from trying to scratch out the sap using this solution only for it to minimally work. I can’t say I recommend this product
I was so nervous because I had what I believe to be dried tar on my car. I had realized it after I took it to get washed and it was still stuck there. It was also sticky at first. Anyway, I was super stressed that maybe it would be stuck or ruin my pain because I let it dry and didn’t take action to remove it for a few weeks. Cut to buying this stuff and I could not be more grateful. You shake it, spray it, leave it for a minute, and it REMOVES DRIED TAR! I used a micro fiber cloth as suggested. I’m some areas you may need a little muscle but it mostly glides right off. This thing was awesome and I’m really grateful it worked so well and my car is saved :)
During a recent road trip, we drove through a swarm of bugs in over 100-degree heat.
