Turtle Wax Polishing Compound 298g

Had an older black car that was really dull after years of use. I used the wax and couldn’t believe how well it worked! The paint looked restored! Very happy with the results. I will definitely use this wax again.

Stress, inattentiveness, and impatience are the norm if you’re on the road these days. If you’re in a major city, bumpers are seldom left unscuffed. Don't kid yourself. Keep Turtle Wax in your glove box if you wanna keep your wheels lookin fresh.

I used this product to remove minor scratches on my car and to refresh car finishes, so far so good except the depth of the scratch is not from the body itself. If the scratch is bigger, you need to rub for 10 to 15 minutes to get a good result. Buff to clear finish made my car nice and shinny.

This is definitely hard work but it has high rewards of high gloss shine. The rain just runs off and the paint is protected. Rub on with application sponge and let haze up. Buff off with a soft cloth to reveal shine. I like that you can see where you may have missed rubbing off. You will need to do this in the shade. Great product and stays perfect in the tin.

AMAZING PASTE

I machined a frame for a LCD computer display panel out of an aluminum plate 12" X 15". I removed the machine marks with 320 grit abrasive paper and followed that with Turtle Wax 'Heavy Duty Cleaner' paste. When the abrasive paper scratches were gone then I started getting directional scratches from the HDC paste albeit light scratches but in the light they were terrible. At that point I needed a less aggressive paste so I went to the auto parts store and purchased Turtle Wax 'Light To Medium Cleaner'. I knew on the first rub that I had struck GOLD because the directional scratches disappeared.Anybody that says the 'Light To Medium Cleaner' doesn't work simply doesn't know how to use paste compounds.

Best Ever Polish & Oxide Remover

This is the best polishing compound I have used. Works well with car duct, polishes scratches from watch glasses, cleaned headlights & tail lights, polishes marks from marble & other surfaces with ease.

Not the right thing.

I bought this product to handle some minor surface scratches on a 3 year old car. It didn't have any effect whatsoever. Maybe I bought the wrong product but the write up said it was exactly what I needed. Not so!!

Perfect for light scuffs on clear coats.

What I like is how easy and quick this works for removing light scuffs and those finger nail lines behind the door handles that show up on light color vehicles. I have also used this on garden solar panel lights. Comes in a nice squeeze bottle which I prefer a lot more than the plastic jar.

cleans headlight haze

If you feel roughness on your headlights start around 600 grit wetsand and work up to 1200 grit. I used rubbing compound before polishing but I think you could go straight from 1200 to polishing compound. spend several minutes polishing, it takes some elbow grease and time. Looks great, to make it perfect add Future / Pledge clear floor polish- wipe on a VERY thin coat in one direction and let air dry. Factory-new finish. Voila.

will destroy your paint

Put this product on my spoiler that was lightly faded. Scratched the paint and left the spots bright white. When I complained they told me sometimes you have to sand and paint. That is not what the product said on the label. If it had I would have left my spoiler alone. I did not want to mess with painting. I need the car to get to work. Now I can file a claim with estimates. I don't need my car to be in a shop for painting. And, they want me to pay to send their product back to them. Really????
