Based on a YouTube review by WatchJRGo where he gave this the top review of 6 brands, I figured it was worth a shot and it did not disappoint. My daughter’s 2014 Subaru’s headlights were so clouded over that she complained she could not see at night coming home for Christmas over Donner Summit. Take your time and follow the instructions, especially the last two steps for the wipes, which must be applied quickly before they dry out; don’t overdo it, one wipe down and move in to the second headlight, don’t touch again until it dries. The headlights went from a terrible yellow, oxidized, hazed mess to brand new-looking.

I was unsure which of the many options to use and didn't want to spend too much money, so I decided to go with the least expensive option that included a sealer. My 2011 Kia had badly fogged headlamp lenses and I had limited success last summer using a different brand. I knew from that experience that I wanted the sealer and I didn't want to use a drill, so the Turtle Wax kit met my criteria. I used wide painter's tape to mask the lens, then followed the instructions exactly. It took a few minutes to realize that I needed to be really generous with the spray bottle to keep the sanding nice and wet, and after the first go there were some areas that required a bit more sanding. A second round of sanding with all the pads did the trick and the results were beautiful. ... MoreI was unsure which of the many options to use and didn't want to spend too much money, so I decided to go with the least expensive option that included a sealer. I replaced one headlight on a 2007 Mazda 3 with a new aftermarket one and used this kit on the other original headlight. Following the instructions it restored a yellowing and cloudy original Mazda headlight to be almost the same as the new headlight for clarity. Very impressive result. Elbow grease required and directions need to be followed precisely - don't hurry or skip steps. It took me about an hour to go from original state to finished. Will now see how long this lasts, but even if it is only a year, it will be 4 years before it costs more that an aftermarket replacement headlight if I had to repeat it yearly.

My headlights were awful and so for eleven dollars I figured there is no way it could get worse, right? Out of this world right. It was a quick and easy process to follow. I didn't even really need to use the little scratchy pads that assist with the tougher grime. I did use a microfiber pad drill attachment when applying the compound, so maybe that helped a bit. Some say you have to this every three months or so but I guess we'll see. Outside of replacing the headlights, this was a great help.
I was about to take my headlights out and sand down the insides because they'd gotten so cloudy on an old 2010 Kia. Trying to find 400, 1000, and 2000 grit sand paper proved a problem as I could only find them in bulk packs so that would be stupid expensive.Picked up this Turtle product as a long shot and followed the directions. Easy enough. And to my delight, just using it on the outside of the headlights brought them back to 90% as clear as the day I brought the car home.I assume if you use the left over paste on the inside of the lense you'd be back to 100% but at this point who cares. I'm very happy with this product and will recommend to all my friends an family. Thank you Mr. Turtle :)
This is a stupid product, STUPIDLY GOOD!!!I did not expect that it would work so good. My headlights would cost almost a thousand bucks to replace, but this stuff has made them as new for 45 dollars. (2014 VW Scirocco with slightly old looking headlights, not anymore though!)You have to follow all the steps. Before I used the last two little wipes, it still didn't look much better. But after all the steps it's so good! Glad I tried this very cheap solution. Thank you
I totally loved this peoduct!! I would say is the Best product for headlight restauration on the market! It took me not more than 10 minutes to get my headlights done. I didnt even have to use the sandpaper pad. My headlights got cleared up by using only the cleaning spray. After that i Just sealed the headlights with the wipes and got the job done , and most important i didnt have to waste a lot of money on this product since its available for such a good and low prize. It was Quick and very easy to do. My headlights looked really yellow ,dirty and really old before using the product . I even thought about buying New ones. I generally like the Turtle Wax products, but this one just didn’t work at all for me. Agree with others that the supplied sanding pads are very small and awkward to use.Used it on one side of my van’s plastic/acrylic headlights and made it substantially worse (compared it to the other headlight which was not touched). Overcame the problem by using a hand-applied liquid polish followed by lamb’s wool buffing in a battery-powered electric drill. Comparing the result to the other headlight, the cleaned lens was visibly better and probably close to new. Cleaned the other headlight to the “as new” condition.Used the Turtle Wax Lens Sealing Wipe to seal the surface of the cleaned lenses, so the kit wasn’t a complete waste.I wonder whether the Turtle Wax Headlight ... MoreI generally like the Turtle Wax products, but this one just didn’t work at all for me. I wasn't expecting much from this, but thought I would give it a try. It's much cheaper than replacing the lenses. I followed the instructions carefully and took my time on the polishing, and I'm surprised by the results. Thirty year old lenses came out looking almost new, and the increased intensity of the light from the headlights make night driving much safer. If you don't mind putting in a little elbow grease, you can get a dramatic improvement in your lenses. One tip: with each grit of abrasive, polish until you feel it smooth out. You will know what I'm talking about, the resistance to your motion decreases and you can feel it gliding across the surface, that's when you know you've got it and can move onto the finer grade of abrasive. Product works as advertised, but plan on spending an hour total for both headlights. I ended up sandpapering each lens 5 rounds to ensure proper and uniform coverage. Plenty of fluids on the lens to keep from scratching, and the silicon spread (last step of the process) will fill in those ruts and microscopic crevices. I’ve only a week or two on the finished product, so I’m not sure if it will last a year or a lifetime. I assume they designed the product with a yearly service, so you would have to buy it again next year. Otherwise, works good, but it is not a “quick fix” to do. I would wax the paint before doing the kit, the sanded plastic slurry will drip down from headlamp to bumper causing a water stain that you can wipe off of you are quick enough.
