My favourite tea ever. Delicious black or with milk. I’ve tried many brands of earl Grey but always come back to TWININGS nothing compares. It’s not the cheapest however it’s also still affordable. They do come in a large size box in addition to there smaller one which personally I find to be of perfect size as flavoured teas seem to be more of a one off. TWININGS tea always tastes so fresh and comes packaged in a foil wrapper for extra freshness. If I could give it more than 5⭐️ I would.

Some people complained when Twinings reformulated their Earl Grey back around 2011. I spent my teen years in the UK and fondly recall this as my favorite tea. I like the new blend even better, having a stronger bergamot flavor. I find this makes for a more refreshing and invigorating cup of tea due to the stimulating effects of the terpenes found in bergamot. With a Royal Appointment going back a couple centuries, you can never go wrong with Twinings. The company is finally working on their ethics as well and, while they are a bit late to the game, I believe, in time, the ethical questions about their trade and labor practices will go away. As a consumer, I am willing to accept the increase in price that comes with ethical production standards.

I wouldn't classify myself as a tea snob, but I do really enjoy a variety of tea, and I'm picky when it comes to black tea. I want something strong, with a lot of body that will stand up to milk. Twinings is absolutely my go-to. I've tried loose leaf English Breakfast tea from Teavana and other specialty tea stores, and have always been disappointed. Their flavor is more plant-like, and less smokey, and overall weaker than Twinings. This tea also doesn't get bitter when I steep it for too long. Sometimes I forget, and it'll steep for 30 minutes. I just get a stronger cup of tea, not a bitter one.

Cup at home, made from a teabag. Pours hazy dark brown (against white china) with sediment. Intense aroma of malt, bergamot oil, citrus and, well, horse manure, if you ask me, with some leafy notes of black tea. Bitter flavour of black tea, with some malty notes, and citric touches and hints of bergamot oil. Astringent palate with leafy and bergamot notes and very mild citric hint. Well, I like a good Early Grey but this one is, well, rather disappointing, especially in its aroma. I followed the instructions on the packaging, but it seems to me that I had overbrewed it in the end. The flavour, and certainly the scent, is not light, as the packaging says. Well, that was it. Fortunately, it wasn't expensive

Excellent lavender tea

To me, this is one of the finest blends of lavender infused teas. The blend of Earl Grey and lavender is perfect for those who enjoy strong tea as both tastes are balanced and blended to perfection. It is a caffeinated tea and will provide that boost of energy. It is a one tea bag use if you enjoy strong tea,The lavender is distinctive in the tea, it is not subtle so if you like the taste of lavender then this may be the tea for you. I find the bergamot compliments the flower tones very well. It’s a perfect tea for the early afternoon when you need a pick me up that is also aromatic and soothing.

I'm not a fan of lavender as a fragrance bc it's always overkill. However, lavender in TEA is a deal breaker - I LOVE it! This tea has a light handed, fresh lavender scent and it's sooo good in a tea.QUALITY - I'm not a huge fan of Twining's teas overall bc they always seem to be a bit lacking in strength (I'm a Texan and we like strong tea). But THIS tea is one of th better Twining's products and I'll be buying it again!SERVING - With 20 tea bags the size is more generous than most as most teas offer around 18Taste - As stated above - wonderful!Blend - Great blend of EG and lavender. It's soft yet bold so that's a pretty cool combo!ENJOY!

Not satisfied

i like Earl Grey with Lavender but I didn't like the taste AT ALL. it tasted bitter and strong. the little hint of lavender but it didn't smell well... i tried to add some coconut milk as well as regular milk but didn't go well with the taste. will try to use concentrated milk the next time. I prefered Stash breakfast in Paris more
