Typhoon Living Bread Bin - Cream

Looks great in my kitchen. Love that the lid can be used as a bread board. Is smaller than I thought - it will fit a full size sliced loaf as long as it’s on its side and there’s nothing else in there. Aesthetically great though.

A bit pants!!

It’s a nice looking bread bin and matches the other accessories I bought for my new kitchen. It’s a perfect colour match for how we’ve decorated the kitchen but it’s a bit small so if you’ve only got one loaf of bread on the go it’s perfect. Add another and a packet of crumpets and you’re struggling.The wooden lid doesn’t fit great and falls into the bread bin if you don’t lift it off properly so could do with a handle on it.All that said, I do like it so I’m going to buy a second one for my second loaf and my crumpets and buy a couple of handles which I can fix through the lid.Happy days!!

Love colour and good size bread bin

I had never owned a bread bin before so did a fair amount of research. I am really pleased with my final choice, modest in size it does not dominate the counter, lover colour and love the wooden top. All round solid choice. Could possibly be a bit more air tight.

Lovely but could be better, difference in quality is annoying

The tea, coffee, sugar canisters & utensils pot are good quality & perfect colour in my kitchen, im very happy with them. The bread bin, pasta & cookie tins are an inferior quality in comparison & look like they are from a different manufacturer. There is no visible metal rim under the wooden lids & therefore don't quite match. Pasta tin needs to be fractionally taller too! Not helped by poor packing so they arrived slightly dented, particularly the cookie tin. Very disappointed for that.

Lovely colour and shape but rather small

Bought this to replace an old stainless steel bin and the colour nicely fits with our new kitchen. However, the old bin easily accomodated two small loaves and a pack of crumpets which this one won't. It's most unfortunate that the description doesn't include the product dimensions.

Modern Country!!

Chose bread bin and matching cannisters in cream, Modern Country is our kitchen theme!. Bread bin quite big and ACTUALLY keeps bread from going mouldy!! We are not big bread eaters, so this was a wonderful surprise. Need now to buy cookie cannister to complete range.

Nice Colour, Great Size - final piece of my organising

The bread bin is large enough to hold all the extra bits and pieces like infusers, strainers, carry out cup lids.It's a nice glossy finish, matches all my canisters holding teas, coffee, sugar.It looks great, does exactly what I needed.Of note - unlike the small canisters this has a lid without a silicone seal. I wouldn't expect a bread bin to have that anyway, but if you were hoping to have a really big storage container then this might not be for you.

Perfect for me!

I have the tea and coffee tins in the same range, so that was part of my reason for choosing this bin. I read some reviews, a few folk commented on the fact that the lid is not air tight. I don’t find that a problem as I tend to bye small loaves which are used within a couple of days.It will hold one 800gms sliced loaf.Pleased with the quality and colour.

This is a GOOD product.

Bought this a year ago and, even in the summer, bread lasts a LOT longer in this bin than it would merely on a shelf in a pantry. The only thing to be careful of is that, since the lid has no handle, it can drop into the bin when removing or replacing it (I'm a bit of a fumble fingers sometimes) and there is the risk it may dent the metal when it falls in but, I suppose you could put a handle on the lid if you want to (I haven't). However, it is a really nice piece on the bench, has that somewhat old-style appeal, is of good quality material and.... and.... I'm getting another one! (I make sourdough so am often in need of the extra space). Love the Typhoon Living design style!
