Ubiquiti ER-RMKIT EdgeRouter Rackmount Kit

Really good bit of kit - amazing value for money. Especially when compared to Cisco's £60 rack mounting kit that consists of two angled bits of metal (not even painted!!)This makes the rack look really well presented.

Dual internet service rack mount router

Excellent rack mount. Only wish it could hold a media converter also. That media converter is used for optical to ethernet conversion.

Fit perfectly, color doesn't match Unifi devices

The mount fit my Switch XG 6 PoE (US-XG-6PoE) perfectly and allowed to switch to be rack mounted securely. It also nicely spaced it out, centered top to bottom (the switch isn't 1U tall). My only compliant is that it is only offered in black, which doesn't match the silver of other Unifi devices. I know some folks spray paint them but that's too much effort for something I don't see very often.

Great router. Fast

The EdgeRouter works great. Definitely not for a novice, but once setup is great. Very fast and feature rich. Exactly what a geek would want.

High value

It is not often I call a Ubiquiti item underpriced but this thing is really impressive. Adjustment, fit and finish, and packaging are all superb. I am using is on an edgerouter 6p and it definitely seems to run cooler than mounted sideways.

Makes for Tidy Rack Install

This is a very clever way of mounting an Edge router in a rack. It has sliding mount on one side that allows it to size for various pieces of Edge gear. It looks great and is well made. My only wish is that the cutout was centered but this is a minor detail and my wish and probably does not apply to everyone.

[Rewarded Review] Expensive but well-designed

This rack mount kit is a little pricey but supports many different widths of Ubiqiti router/switch and is very sturdy. The symmetrical design means you can mount your router/switch either on the left or the right by flipping the bracket. Comes with everything you need, including screws and nuts for the rack.

[Rewarded Review] Fits Edgerouter X SFP...kinda.

While this is only for EdgeMax routers, I was able to mount my EdgeRouter X SFP using Velcro strips on the sides, and electrical tape to keep it in place on the inside. Since the EdgeRouter is smaller than the opening, it leaves enough of a gap to feed wires through.

Great product for mounting Edge Routers. We use them all the time and really depend on them for making our data racks look nice and to keep them looking clean. B&H was great to work with, ordering these devices.

[Rewarded Review] Great and needed accessory if you have a rack

Not much to review. It just works great! It's all metal and made well. You can reverse it for left or right side deployment. We have installed lots of these in the field. The picture is from my home rack setup with an ER6 mounted in the rackmount kit.
