This switch was much smaller than I expected. It is a great design and works well with ubiquity dream machine.

Overall, I'm happy with the switch, but Ubiquiti's choice to use aproprietary mounting system here, omit any rack mountinghardware, and even release the switch before the extra mounting kit iswidely available... it all leaves a bad taste in my mouth.If you opt for a POE model, POE++ support is fantastic at this price point, and 2.5Gb ports and 10GSFP+ ports work at full speed as advertised. Seamless integration with a Dream Machine using Ubiquiti direct attched SFP+ cable. That last one is a real bummer.The mounting system for this switch costs $50 additional (MFG# UACC-PRO-MAX-16-RM) and is either unreleased (or has been sold out for months) as of this posting. Not great. In my opinion ANY managed networking equipment is going to live in a rack, so it should always include hardware, OR AT LEAST be compatible with generic brackets or rails (which this is NOT). This DOES include a few drywall anchors and brackets for vertical wall mounting, so that's... something i guess. Maybe next year's Pro Max Special ULTRA Edition will actually come with rack hardware.

The unit arrived quickly and was pretty much plug and play - just wish the rack mount was available with the unit. This replaces and older PoE switch that was failing.
