Clearly the 'pan, tilt and zoom is digital but this camera provides a clear view of the surroundings when used in the appropriate place. I have mine mounted on a corner of my house under the soffit and I get a good 270 degree field of view making it easy to identify packages and people at my front door and entrance path. Night vision is good enough to see something happening but like all cameras of this type it would be difficult to confidently identify someone in the dark from 3m away or more, that being said its performance is within my expectations. In the right place and with expectations reasonable, I'd recommend it mainly because of the 360° field of view. Note that I use another camera of IR illumination as like all UniFi cameras with a dome over the lens (G3 dome, G4 dome, AI-360 etc) there is always IR spill and reflections from the illuminations ruining the night view but mine is installed closer to a wall than Unbiquit recommend so that could be the issue. Note that in UniFi Protect multiple different camera views from this camera can be displayed in the Live View.

Disappointing to say the least, after waiting many months for stock, I was sadly disappointed by the quality of the footage, you wouldn't make out much of a suspect with this camera, even up close.

Runs hot, zooms less than expected and lacks the detail I wanted when zoomed in.
It's not a real PTZ camera, it just takes a fisheye shot and the Ubiquiti software lets you move around as if it was a PTZ. It's a robust and sturdy camera though.
Very good material as usual with Ubiquiti. Very easy to install with the Cloud Next Gen 2 Plus device. Highly recommended!
