Bought 2 of them. One of them frayed and broke after a little more than a year. Other reviews suggest the company does not honor its warranty.On the other hand, it seems like all iPhone cables die quickly, and the lifespan and low price of this one seems comparable to other cords. So. Maybe my bad cord was a fluke and you’ll get lucky with at least some cords surviving longer.

Previously purchased UGREEN USB A to Lightning cable works as it should with Lightning connector inserting with confidence and a light snap in iPhone Lightning port.This UGREEN USB C to Lightning cable - despite being well built - doesn't serve its primary purpose: connect with the device. The Lightning connector does not establish a firm connection with the iPhone lightning port: loose fit, drops connection when slightly touching the cable.So manufacturing quality varies. Will return it. Unfortunate because these cables are well built. But that's not enough because connectors have to work first.

There's nothing bad to say about this cable, really. The build quality is great and my phone charges quickly and transfers data quickly when I'm using it. It plugs and unplugs easily on both the USB C and Lightning ends of the cable, so it's not like those cables that can be too tight or too loose. I received it quickly and the packaging was in good condition, which might say more about the fulfillment center, but it's worth noting. Long story short: if you need a USB C to Lightning cable, you can't go wrong with this one.

Overall Strudiness & Durability is GOOD, but cord becomes very HOT within a FEW minutes of CHARGING and I DIDNT like that. I have a new the new IPhone Pro Max 11 and I felt like if I continued use it would mess up my phone. I wanted a longer cord so I wouldn’t have to sit next to outlet but Its not worth ruining my new phone in my opinion. Overall for me it was a waste of money because I don’t want to use it. Sprint warned me of buying cords that aren’t Apple would certified it would mess up phone.

I have other UGreen 6' usb-c to usb-c braided cables and they're great. They're durable and flexible and overall quality of those are great, all without without being stiff. With this lightning to usb-c cable, the cable is thicker and very stiff. Not sure why the lightning version is different. Off to find an alternative.

The cables look sturdy from outside, but they don’t last long. Inner damage in the cable interrupts the charging with little movement. Also, the cable is not soft and flexible. They don’t bend easily. As a result, charging the phone and handling it at same time doesn’t give a good feeling.

I rate this cord 4 out of 5 because the housing on the ends of the cord scratched up pretty easily and the stiffness of the cable.Also, the longer I own any of these nylon-braided cables the more I dislike how the nylon becomes frayed and “hairy” looking.I suppose having braided nylon on the outside of the sheath provides more durability and rigidity to the cable while not adding too much to the production cost but there’s a part of me that would rather pay a little more for a better/thicker sheath and not carry around a cord in public that looks like it’s been wrapped in pubic hair.

Bought it around May. Stopped working a couple of days ago. I used a 30W USB-c power delivery brick with this cable If you want something to last id say maybe look elsewhere. I've bought multiple brands and usually, they don't last long either and their customer service might not be that great either. I'd reach out to UGREEN to see if they can help out if there's any warranty but from what I see in these reviews it's prob best to move on. So yeah if you're looking for something long-term, it's best if you look to spend your money on another brand that might last longer. If you're looking for something short-term then go ahead I guess.

Box is clearly labeled and follows MFi certification standards (unlike other products that only say MFi certified in the description). This product arrives in a shrink wrapped retail box showing MFi certification and branded with the UGREEN name on the box and cable. The braid itself is very tight which makes the cable a bit stiff at first but should loosen with continued use. Overall, I'm happy knowing it's not some unknown generic knockoff that can damage your device just to save $10 when you spend $500 to $1000 on your iPhone.

This cord is great. It supports PD charging for apple. I’m sure for Android too, but can’t confirm, as I do not have an Android.The quality of the cord is superb, nylon thick rope type, and the connection never comes undone. This is just as thick as a high quality HDMI cord.Highly recommend this cord if you need to extend a USB-C based device that came with a short cord.My only gripe is that I didn’t get the longer version. The 3’ is shorter than I thought and the price difference is pretty negligible. The 6’ is not so long, that I’d imagine anybody purchasing would take issue with.
