Ability to turn on and turn off the speaker from the app is very nice. The technology associated with the speaker itself provides the ability to connect two bluetooth devices which I found very useful. Gladly, the speaker is splash-resistant. Battery life is great and quality of power cords is great. In addition, I found that having the increase and decrease volume buttons being touch sensitive rather than press-buttons made life easierEase of Use - 10.0/10.0Set up is incredibly easy and there have been no problems regarding the bluetooth. Considering the speaker is 13lbs and has fairly large dimensions, the handle does a very good job of keeping the speaker steady. I have no fear when carrying the speaker by the handle that the handle would give out.

I have recently bought this speaker having bought the small Wonderboom only a couple of months ago and having been impressed by it. The Hyperboom is a very different beast. This thing is big! The sound quality of it though is excellent. Heavy on the bass as to be expected but using the app you can control the speaker, change the EQ to reduce bass etc. This thing can go loud but never gets distorted. It is worth playing around with the location and orientation to get the best sound from it. The app also allows you to switch the unit on and off, adjust the volume etc. The large controls on the top of the speaker are very intuitive. It is the best Bluetooth speaker I've heard and works effortlessly. It is portable and can be moved with the carry strap but due to size and weight you wouldn't want to carry it too far. The unit arrived well packaged and appears premium quality. It isn't cheap but I believe it is worth it. I haven't yet connected to my TV but have ordered an optical cable to give it a try. I would certainly recommend it to others. I bought from John Lewis to get the 2 year warranty.

I bought the speaker because I heard somebody else using theirs and I absolutely fell in love with the punchy bass. The quality of the audio components is stellar. However, that said, the speaker's other components leave a lot to be desired. The screws that hold the handle in place can become unwound and the first time this happened to me, the speaker dropped out of my hand from a height of 5 ft. Knowing that that was an issue, I had to ensure that the speaker's bolts were always tightened. And while that was inconvenient, it was still useable. About 3 years of use led to the rubber handle snapping in half entirely and, again, the speaker fell out of my hand while I was carrying it.
