After using this to rebate two panels in a door I am making, using dressed pine, I noticed the guide bearing had a lot of play and was quite sloppy. Obviously not happy to continue using it in case it caused problems in further rebating, from another store I was able to buy a replacement bearing with a good reputation for quality, so I'll see how that goes.

The lug that holds the guide wheel came lose and the wheel fell off. It caused a bit of a mess of the gate piece I was working on. I had to buy a second one of thes because I could not find the lug. With the second one I made sure I periodically tightened the lug with an Allen key and it worked fine.
