I received all 3 shades via Skeepers for my honest review. All three shades are subtle and look nice with my fair skin tone. The formula is thick enough to feel nourishing without feeling greasy or sticky. I had it on a few days when it was windy and my hair didn’t get stuck in it terribly like some glosses do lol. I’m actually pleasantly surprised. I was skeptical because my lips are really sensitive and curious about how it would taste and smell. 1. This smells good. It doesn’t smell artificial and it has subtle minty smell to it. 2. It taste like mint gum. Not too much not too little. I don’t taste the “sunscreen”. As for how it looks, i’m a brown skin black woman with two toned lip and ofc my favourite shade is the brown one. Ofc i think all the shade looks good on my lips, but it just obsessed with the brown. It’s really sheer and non sticky and has a super smooth application. I apply it as my skincare routine and also as a reapply lip balm when i’m out of my house. The texture is super nice, it's not sticky at all and feels really light and hydrating on my lips. These Australian made and tested lip balms from Ultra Violette are really nice. They have spf 50, they are thick, not sticky, hydrating and slightly tinted. I love that they have a sheer colour and are not sticky, I love that about these lip balms! The colours are beautiful and they give a slight tint to the lips. What I did not like was the peppermint scent to these. I found that to be a bit overpowering and drying to my lips. When I initially put it on my lips feel hydrated but once it’s gone my lips feel dry again. I’m not a fan of scents in products so the peppermint scent was not my favourite. These look super pretty and glossy on the lips, have great selection of colours and feel nourishing and comfortable to wear. I trust the brand with the SPF element of these too as I love their sunscreens and have never burnt whilst using them. BUT to me these taste AWFUL - really chemically and pretty much like you've eaten sunscreen. I can't detect the minty element others note at all, just tastes like straight up chemicals. I think maybe I've gotten a bit spoiled by all the lovely lip formulas that are either flavourless, or taste lovely, but these are a bit of a fail on that front. I can't use this if I'm planning to eat or drink anything whilst they're on as they sort of pollute the taste of whatever you're eating. So I would say only purchase if you are happy ...
