Under Armour Crossback Mid Sports Bra

(1,959 reviews)

Sports bras should not be complicated. They should be comfortable and provide support. So Under Armour got to the root of the problem and asked women how their favorite bra could be improved. And lo and behold, it worked. The Armour Crossback Mid offers strategic support for medium-impact activities like cycling, weight training and boxing. The super supple, double-layer HeatGear fabric gives a next-to-skin feel. The lightweight fabric also wicks away sweat for dry comfort. The crossover straps with modern keyhole detail and elastic underbust band with UA logos provide an optimal fit. The removable bra cups are soft, quick-drying, and feature perforations for breathability. Plus, with helpful right and left arrows, they're easy to put back in after washing.

A little snug, but think I like it

So far, so good. I usually get a small in running bras but after reading reviews ordered a medium. Still feels a tiny bit snug but not uncomfortable even after a 2.5 hour run. Only slight drawback, as others have written, is the huge slot for the pads. They stayed put while running but fall halfway out while in my drawer. Easy fix - will just put in a few stitches to narrow the slot, or add a small piece of velcro in the center. On the positive side, super easy to take out and put back in when washing.

Comfortable and Supportive

These sports bras are the real deal. They provide a tremendous amount of support while still being comfortable to wear throughout the day. I wear them all day at work, then can easily transition into my workout immediately after the workday ends. I mostly do HIIT style workouts with a lot of cardio, and these sports bras provide all the support I need as a 34D. They're also very easy to take off post-workout. I came back to the site and bought 4 more after my initial purchase of 2 because I like them that much.

Feels secure & washes well!

I have a lot of fitness bras that are too tight, too loose, or don’t hold up after washing. But this one was different! I felt securely held in place during my workout & when laundered, the “chicken cutlet” pads stayed in place. Lots of bra tops, the pads fold up after being laundered & it’s a pain to get them in place again. This bra was recommended on social media by Dru Stott as her favorite. She’s very much into working out so her recommendation meant a lot & I tried it & very glad that I did!!

Fit is not great
22 January 2024

This bra was advertised as having a larger keyhole in the back for easier on/off, and re-designed cups. The keyhole is more like a wide slot, which causes the back part of the strap to sit high on my trapezius. This is not an improvement to me compared to the previous style. The cups are still thick, and label instructs to remove before washing. I may just try wearing without the pads. Originally purchased size Small, exchanged for size Med.

Great support feature!
31 January 2024

This sports bra provides excellent support for running and workouts, which is why I decided to keep it and purchased a second one in a different color for my daily use. I've tried other brands, such as Nike and Adidas (new items this year), but they were all returned. This particular sports bra is the only one that works well for me from all I could find currently. I hope it helps!

I really wanted to like this, but...
1 June 2024

I am 5'2" and a 34B. I usually wear a small in sports bras but the small in this style was way too tight under the arm and on the back. I sized up to a medium which fit really well in the arms and back but the bust area was draping very low. If I had bent over to tie my shoe I would basically be flashing the cars driving by. Didn't notice a huge difference between the two in the band fit. I will say I liked the band a lot - very supportive and didn't roll in either size which is a huge priority for me. Wasn't a huge fan of the removable pads; they weren't really staying in place even when I was just standing there and not moving.

My FAVORITE
16 December 2023

Don't get rid of this product!!! I always hate when I find a product that works and then it goes off the shelf and I can't find anything similar that works. THIS WORKS!! I'm not a fan of adjustable straps because they dig in, I'm not a fan of clasps in the back or the front. I like the ease of just throwing this on like a tank top and having the support I need for any activity! I love this brand/model so much I ordered 4 and wore the blue one during my recent marathon...it worked great and I didn't have any chaffing issues. WIN!

Not as advertised
21 April 2024

I really wanted to like this bra, but nothing that UA says about it is true. There’s absolutely no compression and the sizing is terrible. Not to mention the “removable cup” is literally the worst invention ever. The opening to adjust the cups is about two inches wide which means it is impossible to adjust them when they fold up. To add to the annoyances, this is listed as a 1x, which is what I have always bought from UA. It’s NOT a 1x, not sure what person alive would consider this a 1x. This 1x should be viewed as a medium. I wear a 40DD in regular bras, and the 1x is too small.

This product fits well and very comfortable

I love the moisture wicking. I feel dry throughout my workout. There is plenty of support without being tight. This sports bra is lightweight and breathable. Most sports bras dig into my underarm. This sports bra stays put and sits comfortably. I recommended this bra for all types of workouts. I will be purchasing more!

Yep, this is the one
8 July 2024

I have been searching for MONTHS (probably close to a year) to find a great sports bra that can hold my big girls quiet and still on my very, very long runs (ultra distance) but not cause me any chafing. I'd been using Champion and Title Nine for almost 20 years but both models were discontinued with no acceptable replacement.Found it!The Mid Crossback is soft, strong, and light. It holds everything exactly where they should be over miles and miles of dusty, dirty rock-filled trails.Just came here to order my second in a week and I'll probably be getting at least one or two more before I'm done. I'm stocking up on this puppy!
