This shirt is great as a base-layer to help keep you warm while playing any sport (or being outside in the cold in general). The fit is perfect, tight enough to not be noticable or annoying under other clothes but not so tight that it's uncomfortable. The material feels great and does the job. It fits true to size and was exactly what I hoped for!

I usually wear a large shirt, but need an XL in these as they are compression shirts and fit very snug. Always order a size up. The mock turtleneck also keeps its form very well, unlike cheaper mocks. In addition to them keeping you nice and warm, the next best thing I can say is that I have six of these shirts (in four different colors). They are that good.

Didn't itch nor could I feel the seams. It's snug without being too tight, just the right level of fit. Cold gear fitted top keeps you warm but not overheated. This fit offers you a little extra room for a more comfortable workout if you don’t need the extra muscle support with compression. I like the compression cold gear long pants for added muscle support at the hamstrings and at the abdominal area. I can train in hot and humid weather. But at 72 I used the air conditioner with my cold gear to to rule out the need to deal with the summer heat and the strain it can produce. After I wind down about a half hour later I take off the cold gear as I lower the setting on the air conditioner. I’m 5’8” with a 32 waist at 154 lbs.

I don’t mind spending the high price for quality if I in fact get quality. I bought myself 5 of these shirts to replace the previous UA cold gear shirts I bought back about 10 years ago. The old ones were AWESOME. The new ones are cut slightly different which I like. My issue is 3/5 of the shirts ended up with small balls of fabric all over them. I wash the 5 shirts with the 4 I bought my son in one wash as directed and we hang them dry. I don’t understand how my original 5 from a decade ago never had this issue but 3/5 of mine and 2/4 of my son’s had this ruin the shirts. Bought in multiple colors. They are great. Thin, warm, versatile, comfortable. I like working out with them in colder weather. Can run outside in 30 degree temps with just this, as a baselayer camping, snowboarding, etc. Fitted to the point where it is nearly compression, which I like. If you want a looser fit, this ain't it.
The quality of these thermal turtlenecks are so GOOD, that I bought every color for my husband. They’re fantastic for layering (outside sporting events, colder weather, etc). Or wearing alone. Great array of classic colors, too. Highly recommend!
It’s perfect fit. It was exactly what I was looking for. I’m an emt and when it’s cold I wear my sweater with my polo underneath. When doing the work most of the time I get warm and hot real quick and in back of ambulance it gets very hot when heat is on. Now I wear it under the polo and I’m good for the majority of my shifts. When I’m leaving I put my sweatshirt back on but during the shift it’s great. Plus I was humbled as a first responder to receive a discount from ID.me and I’m super thankful for that. I receive them rather fast. Great customer service! Will shop again.
I ordered 7 of these to replace my tactical cold gear. I’ve worn them each about 4-5 times all of them have fabric pilling already. The length is great the quality isn’t. I’ve had my tactical cold gear for 4 years and it hasn’t started pilling. I will be going back to the tactical cold gear better quality.
