I thought these were lace up.. they are bungee, which was disappointing for me. The elastic was also already stretched out... so, not really usable as-is for my daughter who has narrow feet. My speculation is that the elastic well wear out very quickly.
Granddaughter needed scuff free shoes for gym, so I ordered these. She absolutely loves them and says they are very comfortable.
Bought these as a last minute item for school after the first shoes we ordered never showed up. From the moment he put them on he has had nothing but good feedback. Regarding the shoe itself, it has held up great when many times kids shoes simply fall apart. Happily buy another pair.
