This is a very well laid out and extremely informative book. Not only great for my degree but brilliant for practical 'real world' usable info, such as diets, bmi etcI love the layout and all the different activities. Plus the referencing is phenomenal with all up to date studies. I love having the online access to these with the book too.Money very well spent!

It came very quickly, and I live in a non metro area, so this was a shock. The packaging was great and protected the product.Overall very happy and would buy from this website again.

Clearly laid out, broken into easy-reading segments. The additional online study tools are a real bonus, as they include the most recent studies.Even if this wasn't a set text I'd want it in my collection.

Love reading the book! It's very easy to read and comprehensive.Recommend to anyone who eats!
From what I have read so far it is full of referencing and easy to understand content. I am going into next year studying to be a PT and working on my own goals and I have found this very useful.
This book contains so much information relating to nutrition, vitamins, weight loss, eating habits and body functions. This book helps be significantly for my nutrition counselling course.
This book is used for my uni course and is full of useful information in easy to read formats. Definitely a keeper. The online tools are difficult to learn and not as useful so far as other online textbook tools
The updated edition, perfect complimentary text for uni with more detailed information on current health trends globally. Brilliant
I had to read this book for University. The amount of misinformation/ biased opinions is scary considering as the people that are reading this are usually learning to be doctors, nurses, nutritionists etc and will be teaching others. On several occasions throughout the book they brought up Diabetes in sentences like 'Diabetes can be prevented if you eat healthy'. This may be the case for SOME Type TWO diabetics. But most definitely not for Type ONE diabetics. Not explaining or putting what type of diabetes there talking about in the book makes it really difficult for people to actually learn the difference/understand it. They also put things such as ' It is necessary in the everyday diet to consume low fat milk and vegetable oils'. Etc. I have no idea where they got ... MoreI had to read this book for University. I have no idea where they got this information from but it is so wrong on many levels. This book needs to be removed from all shelves and uni curriculums as it's spreading false information.
comprehensive (though sometimes repetitive) but very small print yet with lots of wasted space around the edges: hard to readvery expensive
