Uni-Ball Signo UMR-1 Gel Pen Refill - 0.38 mm - Black

I have used this refill several times and each time the pen stops writing after no more than 20 times writing. I have tried many different methods to get the ink flowing again and nothing has worked. It is a total waste of a refill and was hoping that after several times the refills will work. I am trying other UNI refills and hope they will work (0.5 and 1.0) but don't really have much faith these will work either. The UNI Style Fit refills on the other hand are amazing and I've had no issues at all with these.

Perfect fit for the Muji .38 pen body, once you shave off the little bits of plastic around the tip (super easy to do with scissors)!

My favorite pen and pen refill. I love the feel of these pens on paper and for me they're perfect for quick sketches and note taking. I like to keep a light touch, so these pens are great for solid lines with barely any pressure. They do smear if you run your hand over them if you don't let it dry, but it doesn't take too long for the ink to dry.

I first found out about the Uni-ball Signo UMR-1 gel pen through JetPens' pen sampler. It's now the primary pen I use for note-taking. These refills came quickly and worked well with the existing pens I have. No ink issues at all.

Oh my goodness. How happy am I to find an authentic refill for the uni-ball signo gel pens. They are my absolute favorite for note taking and every day use. I couldn't find them before so I kept repurchasing the same pen, which isn't very cheap! The ink is very smooth and they fit perfectly into the Uni-ball Signo DX 0.38 mm gel pens. I went ahead and purchased 7 of these and they shipped to my place in just 2 business days! I will continue to repurchase these from this site in the future.

Even better than then 0.5mm one

Thin, precise, smooth writing. I only used the 0.5mm version before, I thought the 0.38 was too thin, but I actually enjoyed so much that I might shift from 0.5 to 0.38 in the future! Best pen ever!

Very good product. Leaves a fine blue line , in its wake. However, when dropped on its tip, it will not write.

Uni-Ball Signo DX better than USA Signo pens.

Avoid most other Signo pens like the Signo grip and Signo 207/307. They arent as good as these Signo DX UM-151 or the Signo UM-100 pens but you have to order them from online. The stuff in USA stores doesnt write as smoothly, it jams and skips more. I have tested the UM-151 and UM-100 and found the ink to be water-proof even submerged or sprayed with a shower. The ink also doesnt bleed even after the pages were soaked in water and allowed to dry. I would stock up on refills to save money. My favorite colors here are black, blue-black, brown-black and Bordeaux-black. Not so much the blue or red. They seem to jam a bit more than the black colors, but are still nowhere near as bad as most pens sold in USA.

Uniball Signo 0.38 is the best

Writes smooth, sharp and consistent. I have tried many brands but loved this one as the best. Refills are costly but can't resist the comfort of writing with a Signo 0.38mm.
