Uniden SSE45 + 1 very good phone for people with sight & hearing problems, large numbers, flashing lights & caller ID with speech announcing incoming caller. Easy to set up & use. Would recommend.

This phone is excellent for Seniors. The shape is long and slim, easy to hold. Numbers are big and clear that make easy to find any key icons for any change that need to be done and also, its design is very nice and compact. Very happy with my purchase

Keeps telling callers to leave a message even though recorder switched off. Spent money on line to fix problem but no better. incoming call light flashing continuously even with a fix to stop it.
Bought this phone for my 85 year old sister in law. It lasted until about 3 months after warranty expired. Told by uniden that it wouldn’t be covered even though only had the phone for 16 months. I also have the same phone and after 18 months the extension charger dies not charge. Very sorry I recommended it to my sister in law. That was before it let me down
This phone has numerous features, however could be simplified for the use of the elderly. Mum(90yrs ) often presses buttons that she shouldn't. Still a great phone large numbers, loud ring tone, storage for 3 important contacts on emergency type buttons, plus storage for numerous other numbers. So far she has deregistered a handset, and locked a hand set all easily fixed though..
I love this phone because unlike other phones, it's great for those of us that are getting old and hard of hearing. The ringer is loud, and the sound when talking is great. On many other phones, we had Hubby had to put it on speaker phone to hear it, but this phone is loud enough for him to hear. It has large numbers that are easy to read and has many other great features. I would definitely recommend this phone!
I love it... I bought it as a gift for my sister who is very hard to please and doesn't like change. It took me awhile to convince her, but she finally agreed to let me set it up. It is perfect! Big numbers, loud ring and voice speaker, and an answering machine, and did I mention the second phone! On top of that was the price... Unbelievable value! ❣️
Having owned previous Uniden and other models, this model tests the patience in how to get to a number in phone book and previous calls with a lot of I believe unnecessary button pressing. I have now had this new phone for some months and at times you get a lot of noise on the line and people at the other end of the line complain that they can't hear what is being said from my end of the line. I press the boost button and this appears to solve the issue.I will say that I hear better on this phone than others as this is the purpose that I replaced a perfectly good phone.I purchased this model as recommended by Harvey Norman staff.
My staff & volunteers love this model especially the louder ring and being to hear more clearly. I love the fact that I can slow down messages so I can understand them because people speak too quickly when leaving their phone number. All in all, a great product. The only complaint is the instruction book, it's too complicated and it refers you to another page and the said instructions are not there or anywhere to be seen. There are still 3 buttons that I don't know what they are for.
