I love that it is sturdy. I have a 10kg front loader and a 8kg heat pump dryer. I have a pedestal for each one and wouldn't dream of using anything else. The lockable storage is very handy. These units are well built and very easy to assemble as it's only the bits that the feet of the appliance lock into.

I have my 9kg westinghouse on this which is very sturdy, solid and the drawer has alot of room, very handy. I have not such a great back and have found this pedestal height is good so doesnt hurt my back bending as much. I absolutely found it worth buying but do some bargaining my friends. Assembly; do need to put the feet on and the silver clips. I purchased at Erina store which the salesman was extremely helpful, so much appreciated his assistance.

A nice item at a fair price, the design provided simple attachment to our new front load washer (Bosch Series 8) and raised the height to allow easier access to load and unload the washing, and the primary reason for our purchase. It also provided extra storage space in the lockable drawer, which works surprisingly well with quality runners. The only negative is the front loader gets a bit excited moving into a slow spin and with the additional height it does move around a bit more than if it was on the floor. The pedestal could have done with additional internal stiffeners to better cope with some flexing but overall it's good value for us.

Very difficult to connect to the feet of the washing machine. The design needs to be refined to make the pedestal lock directly with the feet of the washing machine. The machine is now unwieldy and shakes, virbrates and moves around when on the spin cycle. It did not do this when placed on the floor.
The amount of noise and the amount of wobbling the washing machine makes on this pedestal, is not worth having the pedestal just for those 2 reasons. The brackets, nuts & bolts and hold the washing machine feet supposedly sturdy on the pedestal will eventually loosen and the washing machine will fall off. I am unsure if it's an installation issue - I paid a professional to install the washing machine on top of the pedestal - or, if the pedestal is not suited for its purpose. The pedestal was not cheap, but I needed the new front-loader raised because of neck injuries. Like I said, the pedestal looks nice, seems to be practical, but.
I bought two Unilux pedestal units, one for my washer and one for the dryer. I could not be more happy with my purchase. These units are very solid and have no trouble supporting my 10kg front loader and my heat pump dryer. I highly recommend this product for anyone who is sick of bending down to remove washing. Your basket should sit under the open door comfortably making life easier. The added storage is a bonus and lockable to keep little kids out safely. My daughter now wants to upgrade her laundry.
I have had one of these before under my washing machine and found them good, however, I bought an Asko machine this time and had it installed by the Asko people. They will not install an Asko on one of these pedestals so I had to return it. Asko have one of these drawers too but it is $900. From what I can see it has an extra shelf that pulls out for a basket when you are emptying your machine. Getting the drawer set up under your machine can be an ordeal and you need to have a couple of strong people to lift your machine in place to make sure the legs are in the right place.
Excellent idea. Put all our reusable plastic bags in the drawer - much tidier! Lifts front loader to perfect height! Plumber had to get help to lift the Fisher & Paykel 8.5 kg front loader onto it as the washing machine was so heavy (and he’s strong!).
The Unilux laundry pedestal fits the space perfectly and raises the clothes dryer to a manageable height for us. We have a top loader washing machine so the dryer is positioned beside the washing machine. The pedestal is sturdy and includes a handy storage drawer.
