My skin's barrier was greatly compromised. My chin was so red and irritated. Nothing would soothe and heal it. No products that supposedly were calming and healing would calm it down. I just came across this product on this site and decided to try it out of sheer desperation. After 24 hours I knew this would work and after 2 weeks, my skin is back to normal....I am amazed and grateful to say the least.

Great for the dry seasons. I don't need much to moisturize my face, which I like. The cream is thick and has a clean, "scentless" scent. The texture is interesting. When you rub it between your hands enough it gets very slippy. Good ingredients and quality. The size isn't huge but a little goes a long way. I shared this with my mother who has very sensitive, allergy-prone skin and she liked it even though she hates CICA.
Creams containing copper are blue, and those containing cica are green. This cream appears to be white. I looked at the ingredients and copper is in the lower third, and the cica leaf is almost at the end of the list. The cream was about $12 so I'm not upset as it is thick and rich. I have bone dry skin and this cream is very moisturizing.I purchased this to soothe my skin on the off days from tretinoin, which is causing peeling and irritation. It helps slightly, but perhaps any rich cream would do the same. I will go elsewhere for my copper and cica skincare products, which will admittingly cost quite a bit more, as you get what you pay for. I am willing to pay the price for real results.
I am a huge fan of the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume. I use it at night for my neck and upper chest area, which tends to get sensitive and red. But a while back the price for the Cicaplast Baume seemed to go up. So I decided to try this Uriage version, which was a few dollars less. Although the Uriage has a slightly different consistency and feel from the La Roche-Posay, it did the job just as well. It has no scent and functions well as a deeply moisturizing repair balm.
Both my daughters have atopic skin. This cream was prescribed by a dermatologist to my elder daughter while she was a baby (she is almost 5 now). I have been using it since on her itchy and dry spots. My younger daughter also has atopic skin and this cream was recently prescribed to her too by another dermatologist. It quickly relieves the itchy and sensitive skin helping the skin barier recover and repair the skin surface. The cream is a thick white cream which looks heavy at first. But then you apply it on the skin it quickly absorbs giving the skin a nice dose of moisture. Despite the fact that it contins zinc, it does not leave any white recidue on the skin at all. Creates a barrier when my own moisture barrier is sensitized by too much AHA and or retinol. Good base under makeup when u leave it to dry a bit. I layer a thin layer of this over Cetaphil ad pro derma, then Thinkbaby sunblock. The skin heals within 2 days.Will repurchase when on discount.
