The filter is simply awesome! It cuts off undesired reflecion over the surface of water and it enhances a lot the blue of the sky, sometime resulting in a very deep-blue sky with very well-defined and sharp clouds. I have used it a lot with the lens Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM on my Canon EOS 90D, and it helped me in saving several shots in low-contrast condition during my trips. In some cases, it was astonishing how a "white" sky resulted in a very clear blue sky. It helps also in eliminating reflection from leaves and windows and completely cuts off the ligth emitted from LCD screens. It has a very good build quality and the double-threaded ring allow your filters to be stacked. I have used it in combination with URTH ND filters, resulting in really nice images with low vignetting (depending on the angle of view that you are using). The only thing I can complain about is that the mounting and the removing of the filter can be challening in some situation due to the very slim rim and the presence of rotating element. Anyway, product fully recommended.

The product (CPP polarizing filter +) is proving excellent in use. The cleverly designed metal retaining box is such a refreshing change from the usual sharp-edged, difficult-to-open, filter-dropping plastic cases. This company seems to blend its eco-aware founding principles with top-class products at realistic prices. It also plants trees! The older, leading firms in the market need to pay attention to Urth's genuine approach to combining business with sustainability.

New to CPLs and Urth, I had a general idea of what to expect: good quality lens that would help reduce reflections and saturate colors. It arrived one day before a trip to a woodsy town a few hours away, and paired with the Fuji XS-10, the TTArtisans 27mm, and Reggie’s Portra, I can verify that this is a killer combo. Not only am a now an Urth fan, but I’m buying the Urth essentials kits (which include the CPL, UV + ND filter) for my other lenses.

I got this as a replacement unit as life time warranty from Urth not long after my previous one was damaged. It is much thinner and lighter than the previous design and the adjustment ring is a lot more smoother. I am loving this! it remove 80-90% of glare and reflection and makes my job easy. But the same time you lose 1 or 2 stops of light.
It gives you more control when shooting outside. Easy to use and a nice handy case to protect the filter. It feels well-made, and I imagine I will use it for many years. Whilst I like the newer versions with magnetic connection to a lens being very convenient I think I prefer the screw for reliability.
I have used Urth Filters exclusively ever since I upgraded from a Canon DSLR to a Sony Mirrorless. I have used my CPL filter plus and my ND filter plus many times but on the last three vacations noticed some vignetting when mounted onto a Sony 24-105mm G lens when being used at 24mm. Because I take a lot of photos on my trips I didn't notice it until I started to edit some photos on my laptop. Please tell me I am using it wrong or there is another explanation because I like Urth as a brand!.
I have just received my CPL filter and I am very satisfied with the quality of the lens and maybe particularly the case. It all appears very well made and protected in the case. Unfortunately I can't try it yet as it is for a mirrorless lens (which I have) but I am still waiting on one mirrorless body upgrade so I don't have a mirrorless camera yet. I think the filter and holder will provide very good service for a long time. Thank you URTH!
Happy with the filter it is the screw on version, and will use it with a variable ND. w I was tossing up with this and the newer magnetic version. My suggestion would be to probably go with the magnetic if you are starting from scratch but check that the filters will also allow you to fit you lens hood. I did not go with magnetic as with out testing with my lens I preferred the screw on as I know Urth are good quality and well priced.
Ditched all of my expensive magnetic lens filters from a different brand, for traditional thread-on URTH Plus+ filters. Like these so much better! Beautiful minimal design, can be stacked and capped into a nice compact and protected package with the URTH lens caps. So nice and convenient.
I was uncertain about purchasing this for my zoom 14-24mm, because many suggest cpl only for 24mm up lenses because of natural vignetting for polarized sky.In effect there is such effect on perfect polarizing alignement, but I found it suffices a 10 deg tilt and there is almost no vignetting a most of cpl effect.Being a big filter I also had the "chance" to test the coating, well, no fingerprint attached!
