One of the best variable filters that i have used that that works seamlessly at both extremes! Have been pairing it up with few of my lenses and I must say i am quite impressed with the output. Keep up the good work!

This is an excellent quality 3 stops filter. I mounted it on my super sharp Sigma 135mm f1.8 and It does not affect the image quality at all. There is no visible hue, vignetting or colour cast on the images taken. Other expensive filters maybe are just a tiny bit better if you test them in lab environment, but I don't care about something human eye is unable to differentiate. While I care about technical aspects of photography, I care more about the feeling and art in my work. I wanted to use this to reduce daylight while shooting in lower f stops (yes I love Bokeh), so I will be able to use regular speed light instead of HSS which is more expensive. It works. I’m newer to the video side of things, but I ordered the 3-7 stop hoping it would be the sweet spot for my lenses, and I’m happy to report it’s exactly what I was looking for. I really didn’t want to have to buy two separate NDs, so this 3-7 range was perfect. From what I’ve seen so far, the image quality looks great, no severe vignetting, no real color casting that I can see. I opted for the +filter for the higher quality and I’m very happy with it so far! I would definitely recommend taking a look if your in the market for a quality ND! I was considering getting one of the more expensive, gold ring NDs out there from the other brand (you know which one I’m talking about), but I’m glad I went this route instead. You won’t be disappointed.

This build quality is fantastic, there are also indicators on the rotating element to easily adjust for full stops. The range is good and sufficient for many different conditions.I haven't noticed any vignetting or color casting yet, so I'm very pleased with the product.
This is my 3rd Urth filter purchase. I was pleased to discover a few improvements have been made since my last VND purchase, and I was really happy with the last ones! Most notably a hard stop on the rotation so you can't accidentally go past the min or max setting. It might just be the different brand lens I'm using it on (Sigma vs Sony) but it seems the lens cap fits a lot better to this new filter compared to my other ones.Super smooth rotation, just plain easy to use. 10 thumbs up!!
Like the ND400, the filter works beautifully for color. I tested each increment and found the results were exact. Colors were realistically more saturated and contrasts excellent to give a sharper effect and detail. And as promised, more latitude to blur movement. The only slight drawback in the filter is there is no "stop" to feel if you've accidentally shifted the stop while focusing (I have manual focus lenses). I thought I'd read in a comment that the newer filters had this design upgrade. Comparing the ND8-128 to the ND 400 I don't see any apparent difference in quality: both are excellent value for price.
This is a big piece of glass trusted to Canon’s 28/70 F2L and it’s faultless : it arrived 21 days ago and has been to Venice and presently Bangkok. Small but significant plus points … it arrives in a round screw top tin and not a square plastic box which falls open and shatters, it arrived so fast (London) I was sure Urth must be using extra sensory perception : and third, it’s a beautifully engineered filter. L
Very good variable filter. Much easier to use than swapping or stacking additional filters. Also less weight to carry on a shoot.
Works very well and have no problem with turning the wheel. However with my variable filter nd2-400 one thing I would change is making the turning circle little bit smaller as my front hood doesn't fit after placing the filter. I could of course put fist the hood and then install filter but it makes the job more difficult, especially if you want to change the filter fast. :-)
Fit was great. Awesome matte finish. Would recommend Gobe to colleague and friends. They planted 5 trees for my one purchase which was a nice surprise. I unfortunately ordered the wrong strength filter. I wanted 8 stops so I ordered "ND8" I find out this is just the name and it only drops it by 2 or 3 stops. Thats okay. Im not going to return it because of the awesome quality. I'll just order the right one eventually. Thanks Gobe!
