Makes a good kitchen apron when I tuck it in and around my belt, I constantly use it to wipe my hands, work space, and utensils while cooking. They appear to become softer and more absorbent after several wash cycles. Have not yet used them when baking cakes and cookies.

The flour sacks are good quality, nicely hemmed and a good value. i would recommend them for kitchen use, however, if you plan to do embroidery projects on them just be aware the weave is very loose and the knots tend to go through the fabric. The weave also opens wherever you put the embroidery hoop on too tight.

I was so pleased with the quality of these towels, 12 28x28" hemmed flour sack towels for less than $20. They're fantastic. Very light weight, which makes them perfect for covering bread dough to raise. I was particularly pleased with the quality of the hemming... and it could be said that I'm a real snob when it comes to hemming! Well made.
I ordered these towels cause they said they were Flour-Sack-Dish Towels and I love the flour sack dish towels. These towels are a great value and look nice but they are not absorbent at all. They will not dry hands, dishes or any thing else. Sorry, but I cannot recommend them.
These dish towels are elegant in the way that the simplest things can be if they are well thought out and well executed. Drying dishes is a simple thing that is common to all of us. We may never be able to visit Pakistan, but we will think kind thoughts of Pakistan whenever we dry our dinner plates and bowls.
I was very disappointed with the fabric. Very coarsely woven. Would not call them flour sacks. I wanted them to embroider and the finished product was poor. They were very poorly harmed when some very uneven.
it is the same asother floursack towels I have purchased ---- lint-free drying for dishes at a modest price too -----very happy with the towels
I noticed the reviews of these were for needlework. They do not work as dish towels. They just smear the water around and don't soak it up. I'm not sure, but it seems they've been treated with something? I wouldn't recommend them for kitchen use unless you want to needlepoint something for the kitchen.
These towels are pretty good for whipping dry but not as good of the other dish towels that I have, I had my daughter in law cut one in four pieces and hem the two sides to use for cleaning lenses and eye glasses. They were a nice size for that. I'm sure ;I will find other use's as time goes by. Thank you. Fritz
