We had a car with a badly pinging engine. After using this product with a tankful of unleaded 95 fuel, the improvement in performance was outstanding. Honestly we were most impressed with the incredible results. Further, the price at Supercheap was more than competitive. Definitely a win-win!

This product was great for fixing the particular issue at hand.Put new injectors in but had trouble with pre and after cat sensors. Whilst getting this right (dud new sensors)the sensors had massive amount of carbon buildup due to running car extremely rich.When sensor problem finally solved car would idle rough on and off and sometimes cut out. Stuffed around with other sensors to no avail. Computer connect device showed no fault codes but did not have money to pay specialist. Put one bottle of this premixed with 5 litres of petrol , added to half a tank by 180km all issues gone for my particular problemObviously I neglected to think whilst it ran way too rich it must have affected injector performance. So for my particular problem this product was excellent.

I have used this product a few times over the years. What I notice is a fairly quick response in my acceleration and also a noticeable drop in that Dead spot when you push that accelerator down. But don't expect some type of magical economy results for at least 2 tankfuls. I figure the hydro carbons initially make you use slightly more Fuel while its doing its job cleaning. Once its out of the system is when I see a drop in my fuel usage and In combination with cleaner injectors my car now is more economical AND smoother

Not the first time I’ve purchased this product. I use it as a preventative to keep the injectors clean on my car. It’s easy to use, best to add when tank is empty and you’re filling up with fuel. As far as I know it does as it should, no complaints.
It actually works, i noticed quite a difference. 2 bottles 2 tanks of fuel back to back in the stancer with 95 for a bit extra help.Idels really well again.New fuel filter after the first bottle, i am now seeing 150+ kms out of a tank more then before.

However, after reading reviews, I bought this value two-pack to see if it would quieten some valve chatter when cold. I'm pleased to report that not only has the valve chatter seemingly diminished (there is none when the engine is warm) but the entire engine runs smoother and quieter, especially when warm. I added 1 container (i.e. 350ml) to an empty tank and filled the tank. The effect seemed noticeable after only a few tens of kilometres (it's now done around 200km so it will be interesting to see if things continue to improve as the tank empties). I've yet to establish what, if anything, has happened to the fuel economy. But ... Valvoline Fuel Injector and Carby Cleaner is the ducks guts when you get an older v6 that hasn't been driven hard enough to burn the carbon off the pistons. A tank of fuel plus injector cleaner, drive for extended period with revs up around 3500 RPM, clean oil starts turning black and once the cleaner has gone through it's time for a new oil filter and an oil change. performance, pickup and run temperatures all improved.
I use this product in our cars at least once a year to keep the fuel tank, lines and fuel injectors clean. This way I haven’t had any issues with dirty fuel injectors. A friend used it when their car was not running right on acceleration and it worked. It’s far cheaper than having to have the fuel injectors removed and cleaned.This time the product was discounted so even better.

Casper, her Mazda 2, was drinking like a fish. Casper gets serviced every 10K and had only done 50K when economy dropped off. We were surprised by Casper's errant behaviour as he only normally gets the good fuel from the more reputable branded suppliers. So we were a little worried for Casper's general well-being. Other than the drinking problem Casper didn't appear to show any other symptoms.We ensured Casper was given the optimal opportunity to rehabilitate. As sceptical as I am in alternative treatments, the difference between $10 and $250 I felt was worth the attempt.Why the Valvoline? Well it was a name brand and not a generic equivalent. It was on special at the time for $9.99 for 2 courses where other leading brands were only offering one course of treatment for similar investment.A review of the possible side effects indicated that this was a reasonably safe treatment with little risk to Casper. Although there was an overdose warning that I was comfortable we would not approach with our planned program.I am pleasantly surprised to announce that following Casper's 2 course treatment his drinking issue has subsided and Casper now has reverted to a more socially accepted drinking level of 488km from the last 30 litre fill.Given the unexpected outcome and concern for Casper to potentially relapse we now intend to provide Casper with a booster course of treatment at each service and will look to filling a repeat prescription when the Valvoline twin pack is next on sale at Supercheap Auto.
Resolved cold rough idle. Noticeably smoother running at cruising speed with less throttle input. It must work as even the missus picked up on the improved throttle response.
