I purchased Van’s Authentic Core Classic Shoe in black, size 7.5/8. I have the all black, black white, slip on version, etc. and they range from 7.5-8 in size. Sometimes Vans shoes vary slightly in size, depending on which style you purchase so I like to try them on before I leave the store unless I’m ordering online.

Love these shoes. It’s my absolute go to for almost every outfit. It’s my second pair I’ve owned because my other pair were so worn out! It’s one of the few shoes I wear to drive also for the great grip they have.
These are really attractive shoes in person. The red is not too bright the laces are more of an off white. The fit is just a little different from typical vans. Slightly loose around ankles
I have bought Atwoods in the past. They were great. Well made. I went on to the Vans site and there are NO atwoods. Discontinued I guess. So I bought some Eras and Authentics... they look kind of similar to Atwoods. No. These are flimsy shoes. Especially the authentics. Never again. If I buy Vans again it will have to be Eras, they are slightly better, but I will be on the look out for old stocks of Atwoods, they were the best.
Love these shoes, get a few pairs of these and the classic slip-ons every year. As an adult I finally realized Pepsi tastes better than Coke and Vans are way better than Converse. On my most recent pair the rubber is starting to separate from the canvas a little bit in a few places after only a couple of weeks, nothing serious yet, will probably put some glue on it if it gets worse, this something that seems to happen with all canvas shoes but somehow is something that has never happened to me with Vans before; it's something that has happened with EVERY single pair of Converse I've ever owned (even before Nike bought them).
