"OMG, these toddler pure white slip-on Vans are the cutest! They are super easy to put on and take off, which is a lifesaver when dealing with wiggly little feet. These are great shoes to wear in the summer with shorts! They are not only stylish, but comfortable and stylish. They are not as sturdy as your typical sneaker that laces up, but they can still be used for walking outside on pavement or grass. They get a lot of compliments! Because of the simplistic design, they will be in style for years! If they came in women’s sizes, I would buy them in every color!

Cleaning tip

I absolutely love vans, and have all my life, but I've never been able to clean them without them drying weird afterwards. But I finally figured it out with my latest pair (which are white btw). Use the vans foaming cleanser super thoroughly (don't be afraid to get them all wet), rinse them super super well, stuff them FULL of paper towels including all around the tongue, and let them dry a couple days in a cool DARK place. I was so happy, they came out looking brand new. And again, they are white, aka the hardest ones to clean right. Thank me later!

Do Not Wash, they will discolour

There are 2 problems with these shoes..... First and a MAJOR problem. If you put these in a washing machine they will dry out with awful brown yellow marks all over them. I have had two pairs and it happened to both. One pair I wore for an hour, they got splashed very slightly with a muddy puddle, so I thought no problem, they are canvass I will just pop them in the washing machine. When they dry out they are pretty much destroyed. This weird brown and yellow tide mark appears ALL OVER the shoes and there is no way, even with watered down bleach, to remove the discolouration.2nd EVERY other pair of 'Classic vans slip ons' has the, Classic Vans Chequered sole, which is a gum colour underneath, for some reason, Vans have gone out of their way and spent unnecessary ... MoreThere are 2 problems with these shoes..... This sole is nowhere near as good as the classic sole it is not as hardwearing, looks cheap and makes the shoes look like fakes. To me this seems like some kind of madness? They have spent extra time and effort to make an inferior product. The checker board classic vans slip ons and every other colour classic slip ons have the gum undersole, these 'pure white' have had time and effort spent on them to give you a cheap looking white sole?They are also smaller than other vans I have bought, if you want 8 buy 8.5

Finally In My Size!

They are beautiful. I've been wanting vans for quite some time & unfortunately it was never available in my size (at least not in the stores). I don't like ordering online until I know that the item will fit. It's always been an issue my entire life.Finally I was in a store & they had a 14 for me to try on & they fit perfectly. It was an easy decision after that. I ordered the color I wanted online. I do wish they offered the heavier more durable version vans in my size but they stop at 13.

Great for work, just needs a better insole

Needed a new pair of work shoes and didn't want to put too much money out, bought these on a good sale. Shoes are great, however they are a bit uncomfortable after a couple of hours of wear. However I don't think they were made for prolonged standing so buying a new insole solved the problem instantly. Overall these are really great shoes and I truly recommend them to anyone.

This is a simple shoe, looks great but size is tricky

I need slip resistant shoes for management work in an institutional kitchen (hospital, patient services). The first shoes I ordered were from the Made for the Makers series, because of the composition of that shoe, exterior was a kitchen work friendly coated fabric. I don't cook or serve patient trays everyday, but there are times that I help with production, so I need some shoes that will be versatile. The Made for Makers Vans came in the mail, took about a week to receive, not bad, but they were too big. I wear a women's 9.5-10 normally, I ordered the unisex size of 8.5/mens. Too big. Mailed them back, pretty simple process to return. Took a couple of weeks to get the refund, in my debit card account. Vans slip ons

Bought these as I wanted some nice trainers for holiday and seen this and thought they looked very stylish whether I'm just getting out the pool to slip on or if I'm going out. They really are smart and with a brand like vans you can't go wrong. I only did 4 stars as at the back where your heel goes it's like a rubber texture and caused me a bad blister but that happens when breaking in new shoes but maybe it could have been avoided if it wasn't rubber. Overall still very lovely trainers.

Why change them?

I purchased a replacement pair of my current vans EXACT same ones. Vans must have made some changes to the classics. There is now a leather material around the ankle which cause some pressure and discomfort. The material of the overall shoe is not the same as my others. They have no give to them and are tight. I already do up a size and still don't feel right. Very disappointed.
