If I need to take off my heels at work or change my shoes due to weather conditions these serve the needed purpose. I usually wear a size8 but the 8 was too tight and there weren’t any 8.5s available in store. I got the 9 which is a little loose. ALSO, I WISH THEY HAD THE EXTRA SET OF EYELETS FEATURED ON SOME OF THE OTHER STYLES OF VANS.

I did coat them with a canvas protector so they can last white a little longer. Hoping to be able to still use them throughout fall but have already decided in getting another pair if these get ruined

Bought these on a whim! LOVE them. True to size and I have wide feet and these fit comfortably (and don't look too snug). I haven't worn them yet for long periods of time, but for errands and walks with the dog, they are comfy. I did buy Scotchgarde because I didn't read the fine print to see that these are canvas and not leather/pleather. But they're very cute!

So I'm not a "kid" in chronological age, but very young at heart! I wanted a pair of kicky, cute all-purpose white shoes and these Van's do the trick! They are comfortable but not real cushy, so I added a small insert... works great! I love how they look with shorts, skirts, casual dresses, jeans... great for just about anything not classified as dressy. I gave 4 rather than 5 stars since I have not yet worn them long-term. I'm hopeful these can become my go-to travel shoes once we're able to do that - ha! I've not had to clean them, either, but from what I've read it's not too difficult to get the white canvas looking brand new!
I really wanted these as the soles are black, I ordered my usual size 5, but they were way too small. As plimsolls go, they are quite dainty - I know the word is old fashioned, but they really are rather more canvas shoes than trainers, not having padded linings etc. and are quite light in weight.
I had been looking at this Van's sneaker for months; finally decided to purchase and am so happy with them! Besides being cute for casual dresses, jeans and shorts, they have proven to be very comfortable - I was afraid they would not be. I own several pairs of Converse and I find them uncomfortable for long periods, yet I can wear my Van's for the same time period and my feet are fine. I wore them for 6 hours my first day; no problem. They run true to size, IMO. My feet tend to be slightly narrow and these work for me where others don't - might be due to the laces since I can tighten the shoe. Now I want to purchase them in black.
My teenage son who wears Vans told me these were perfect for me, as they are “50 year old cool” style. I wanted something like old school Keds but those never fit me well. These Vans are modern but not too trendy. Love them.
I love my new Vans. They are exactly the style I was looking for. These have more arch support than similar sneakers. The toe box is roomy without being too large. They look cute with shorts, and skirts. I didn't need any "breaking-in" time at all.
I needed something to wear to work. I work in a retail environment and I need something very comfortable. These are the great. They look nice with what I wear and I will probably buy another pair if I continue to work. Thank you very much.I wear size 8 1/2 and I got an 8 1/2 and they fit wonderfully. They are very comfortable after nine hours of work my feet still feel fine
These are uncomfortable- they push down on my big toe, squish my little outer toes, and when I walk they bend and the hard crease puts a lot of downward pressure across the tops of my foot. The upper is very stiff and scrapes my heels. They are also really heavy. I don't think it would be worth the agony to try to break these in so I have to send them back. (Also- I bought these to replace an old pair of Vans and these are different- more clunky, less sleek. Buyer beware that there are two very similar-looking styles of Vans that look almost indistinguishable online.)
