12+ hrs at work- Love that Comfy Cush

I am a huge Vans fan to begin with so I was stoked to finally come across a shoe that I am willing to risk wearing to work. I work 12+ hours as a nurse and I have to have a shoe that is easy to wipe down (read that as sanitize) and if for whatever reason they can't be saved, it's not a dealbreaker on my wallet (iykyk).I love that these are easy to clean, cute, AND got that comfy Cush that us grown up skate kids can appreciate. As a new shoe, the tongue was a little stiff on the front of my ankle for my first few shifts but it's softening up and I wear the right socks to cushion while I break them in.I'm def looking at another pair of this exact style in a different color to mix it up. I don't *have* to wear white kicks, these just look extra cute with my scrubs ... MoreI am a huge Vans fan to begin with so I was stoked to finally come across a shoe that I am willing to risk wearing to work. Comfy after breaking in, runs .5sz small

After reading a few reviews I made my purchase. I can attest these are about .5sz smaller than my normal Vans sizing, so I'd encourage ordering .5sz larger. These shoes rubbed my inner ankle nearly raw until I'd broken them in after a couple days of wearing. Now they're an excellent fit and super cozy. The Comfy Cush in these feels a tad bit firmer than other shoes I've purchased...wondering if it's the thinner sole?

Great shoes, run small

I was a little nervous about these after reading so many reviews about them being uncomfortable. They do run a half size small, I'm usually a 9.5 which was wayyy too tight so I sized up to a 10 and they fit perfectly. At first, they were a bit uncomfortable but they loosened up fast. They're forming to my feet quickly and are becoming more and more comfortable. I think if you get the right size, they break in relatively quick and are comfortable. I love them!!

Incredible difference
17 August 2023

bought 3 pair for family. We suffer from high arch support so these are the first slip ons that you immediately feel fantastic in your first two steps. The perfect way to unwind after a work or sport and you want to avoid foot/arch/ Plantar fasciitis or cramps due to the lack of proper arch support. I feel better and I am more comfortable in these than my custom orthopedic shoe insoles. Dealing with Foot Locker online is always easy and a pleasurable experience. feel better

LOVE - but size up by 1/2 or whole size
8 March 2023

I was so stoked to see these because they reminded me of my very first pair of Vans in 2005, but just a little less chunky (they must have been a variation of the Upland?) Anyway... Love the look, super clean and versatile. Great alternative to the ~*trendy*~ white Nikes or New Balance sneakers, plus some authentic nostalgia for those who wish for it (me, always). TBH I want them in a few more colorways now.As for sizing, I'd read in reviews that the top of the toe box was weirdly tight, but I still ordered my standard women's 8.5 because I was stubborn and didn't want the shoe to feel longer or too chunky. Fast-forward to now and I've already re-ordered and received a new women's 9 and they fit much better - not weirdly long or chunky whatsoever.

My new favorite all-day shoes!
28 May 2023

I got these in my middle school colors since I teach middle school math. I own Nike AF ones, but they are heavy, so I don't like to wear them to teach. I wear HeyDudes on business casual days, but we have 2 jeans days per week and I wanted stylish but comfortable leather sneakers. I've always loved Vans. I bought these and they are perfect. I like my shoes to fit closely, so I got my normal size and I love the fit. If you like more toe room, size up half a size. If you have wide feet, I don't think these would work.

One of the comfiest pairs I own, BUT...
20 September 2023

Honest review! I own too many pairs of Vans (if that's possible), and this was my first pair of Lowlands. I wore them on my two week trip to Japan and my dogs were happy (very little barking). The comfy cush is amazing and the style is even better. BUT, they do run very, very small. The toe area is super narrow, even for those without wide feet. I wear a 7.5 or 8 in all other Vans, but had to get these in an 8.5. The toe area also creases really easily, but I suppose that's leather in general once they get some use. Overall, I'd definitely recommend these! But head to a store to try a pair on in person to determine your size.

Runs small
26 December 2022

Bought as Christmas gift for 10 year old, went half size up from his current shoe and when came in immediately returned and ordered another half size up. New pair arrived quickly and still small. Very narrow and need a wide. Have to return and try one more time a full size up but unfortunately not available at all and have to purchase elsewhere. Son LOVES these shoes and definitely an eye catcher and good quality, just hope to find a pair that fits...Wish they would make in wide, could solve problem...

The best of the Lowland CC’s
9 April 2023

I was sad when Vans discontinued this color way. In my opinion it is by far the superior one out of any of them, especially the new ones. If you see any reviews about these running a little small, believe them! I highly recommend sizing up a half size to compensate. They are TITE and the comfortcush insoles do not benefit when the fit is so tight like that.Look: 10/10Comfort: 8/10Sizing: 9/10Would I buy them again?: 10/10

I typically have to go up an entire size to be able to wear these shoes. But I can understand when people make accommodations for this company is extremely narrow shoe lines and yet still find it's not a good fit. It's really hit or miss with this company. It's happened to me before with certain styles of high tops. Sometimes you buy a large and it shriks too small. Sometimes you need a medium. Quality control for this company is a huge issue. You can't rely on the sizing and that's a problem for a consumer making a purchase over the internet. You just have to take your chances and hope for the best.
