The Vans Skate version of the classic Slip-On shoes represents a notable improvement. These shoes offer enhanced comfort with their well-cushioned soles, elevating the overall wearing experience. Notably, they exude a sense of ruggedness and sturdiness, making them ideal for various activities. If you\'re seeking both style and durability, I highly recommend considering these Vans Skate Slip-Ons.

For those who likes a lot of board feel, i highly recommend this shoes.I was a big fan of the slip on pros and when vans launched this new skate line, i saw too much reviews saying that they were quite uncomfortable right out of the box. Definitely took 1/2 weeks of plenty daily use to make them comfortable but as soon as the pain disappears, they are the best shoes to skate on.They last me about a month skating street and transition 3 times a week.If you like vulcanized shoes, you should definitely try them!!

Normally the vans skate/pro slip ons are an unbeatable skate shoe, but this time around I had to take 2 stars off for a weird reason.I'm pretty sure I got unlucky with a factory defect, because it was only the left shoe that had an issue. The part of the shoe that rests against my achilles tendon was really hard/sharp, as if someone melted plastic with a lighter. It really dug into my achilles, and caused blistering within like 15 minutes of usage, not even kidding. I've gone through probably 10 pairs of this shoe in my life and never had a problem like this. I'm sure it is a fluke.Thankfully, I was able to wear the hard part out of the shoe and now it doesn't blister and works fine. Still, had to go through pain every time I wore them for like a week of usage ... MoreNormally the vans skate/pro slip ons are an unbeatable skate shoe, but this time around I had to take 2 stars off for a weird reason.I'm pretty sure I got unlucky with a factory defect, because it was only the left shoe that had an issue. I've always relied on Vans for comfortable shoes for work and personal life. I've never had an issue with sizing. A size 5 has always fitted me well with enough space. However these are so narrow I struggle to get my foot into them. I need to wear plasters on my heels or else I develop painful blisters. If you have wide feet then you will definitely have problems getting into them. I tried a 5.5 and whilst it is not as tight (still tight though!) the shoe becomes too long. I tired another version from Vans and a size 5 was impossible to fit into. I really hope the sizing issue will be fixed. Probably best I give the lace up shoes a try. At least you can stretch it a bit.
I wear this product(style )in mainly hot weather with thin ankle socks for general walking comfort etc.I find the shoe extremely comfortable a stretches slightly for a perfect fit within a few wears.I often am only concerned about how long the sole''s will stay together though with regular wear through the summer just with urban walks about town....However* in general I would recommend this style for ease & comfort
These are beautiful with the suede and black / black colour way. It means that they suit almost any occasions. The Vans Skate line suede look expensive on these slip on design and frankly looks very pleasing on your feet. But they use popcush insole that lifts up your heel so that you need to go up one full size or else you cannot even put you foot into the shoe. The elastic straps on the sides need breaking in, but even after months of breaking in you will still need that extra sizing up to accommodate all your toes in the shoebox. This is bad for people who buy them on sales because they will find their true size gone by the time they realize it.
These shoes run the same size wise as their non-skate counterparts, but they REALLY need breaking in. Give them a good stretch and wear them sitting down for an evening or something ~ I got blisters and a bit of a strain or something wearing them out for a day straight from box. After breaking in, they are sooo comfortable and great to skate in. Love love love them. But the rubber wears down fast with flips, just like any other shoe, hence 4 stars. Also the elastic gets really damaged when I heelflip, and you can't just replace like you would a shoelace, which is another down sideI've bought another pair but they're demoted from main shoe to casual shoes that I can still skate in if I want to
Bought these in my normal size 8 as I have a pair of the non-skate version of the slip ons in the same size, which were perfect out of the box. I was hoping to skate in these but when I first tried them on I could barely get my feet in and they were really painful, particularly across the bridge of the foot. I read they stretch out so I have worn them around the house for 1-2 hours at a time for a week or so. After each agonising stretching session my feet are so squashed they are numb and tingling, so tonight I've decided I have to give up. Overall these are slightly bigger than the non-skate version, but the new pop-cush insole is just so thick that you lose a lot of space inside. Overall these are slightly bigger than the non-skate version, but the new pop-cush insole is just so thick that you lose a lot of space inside. If I take out the insoles they fit perfectly (actually with room to spare) but obviously then they offer no cushioning and Vans don't appear to sell replacements. If I went with a bigger size the overall shoe would be too long. Ideally I'd like to buy some of the regular insoles to put in these so I haven't completely wasted my money, but unfortunately looks like they'll have to sit in the wardrobe.
i love this shoe. ive bought it many times. the classic style is great. its perfectly comfortable and the ease of putting the shoe on is awesome. the insole and materials are upgraded to increase the comfort and durability of the shoe making them great for skating. (although these shoes become floppy so if you like board feel thats a benefit but may be a con for some people). also if u wear it a lot it will smell but u can throw these in the wash. While this shoe its not perfect. the vulcanized sole is flawed. extended use will cause the white walls to separate from the waffle grip bottom allowing water to enter through the bottom. Ive owned this shoe over 6 times in my life and this always happens although they will last a good while before they do this.
