I love them. Halfway between Vulc and Cup. A bit more robust and sneaker-like than the Gilbert Crocket. Look cool in black even without a board : )

Thought these were a pro model as they were priced at around 100.Got them on sale and realised when they turned up they were not pro models.Had I paid the full amount I would have returned them but for £30 they are worth the money I paid. I would advise anyone not to but these full price and get some pro models. Much better quality build.

On the positive side, I am absolutely in love with the fit of this shoe. It almost feels like I'm skating barefoot. I also really like the low sole (I'm not a fan of high soles like the Adidas forum where you feel like you could twist your ankle at any time). Despite the low soles, the impact cushioning is excellent!Now for the negative: I don't know what kind of shoe laces vans supplies, but they're an absolute joke. I had to change the shoe laces after every second session. It's best to buy a pair of high-quality laces with the shoe.The shoe also tears open suspiciously quickly on the side.

The construction is great on these, you get the grip from the regular vans skate line in a more supportive cupsole that's also more durable in wear spots since it's all suede. This is probably the most advanced skate shoe in the vans line up in a minute. IMO this competes with the NB 1010.I get about 3 months of daily skating out of a pair. These best fit street skating since the sole is fairly thick, if you want more boardfeel for vert, the regular vans skate line is a better pick.Only negative is that for a skateboarding focused shoe, they don't come with an extra set of laces and the lace orientation is such that it'll rip before the ones on the Sk8-Hi would. The regular skate line always has extra laces, so this seems a little strange.
Great show. Bit miffed you don't get black laces with them like I've received with my other black vans with gum soles. Ho hum.
The build is great, but I had to return it.It's on the narrow-shoes category and being used to old school, it did not fit me great.I guess there's a big market for narrowed feet people but that's not my case.
Not great. Makes your feet very hot/sweaty. Doesn't fit overly well either. Shame
Love the color and style.Sizing is a little narrow.The new NR3 insole is terrible. Super flat and no cushion at all.You will want to buy after market insoles right off. For this price, very little luxury.
First time picking up a pair of the "Pro" range of shoes and they are so much better that on the entry canvas ones. Better padded, much more comfortable and just fit better. I'm sold.
