I love the fact that it comes with remote, the only downside I wish it would have prompted me with a voice msg or a more distinctive tone while turning on and off the microphone from the remote, it does give a tone, but either on or off tone it`s the same, at least tones could be different for on and off, if you have the camera tucked away it is kinda hard to know whether microphone it is on or off... anyway, this is not a big issue. Maybe has all of those but I am not aware of, or maybe it is something that could be fixed with a firmware update...I do recommend to anyone to buy the hard wire kit via OBD port. it is a lot easier rather than going trough the fuses....Again, by far, this is the best dashcam ever! It is only 2K but is enough. The way it is packed, the phone app makes you feel like this company wants to be around for a while...By the way, it is USB C and very IMPORTANT WIFI it is on 5GHz which is day and night difference from others.USB C, Remote, 5GHz WIFI and 2K were the selling point to me!Dashcam has a solid build and a premium feel.Totally recommend it!

I purchased two sets of Vantrue E2 cameras after a lot of research and am very happy with the video quality of the cameras. Installed them with the hardwire kits which gives additional peace of mind when cars are parked. Nice having same resolution front and rear cameras.

I bought the E2 because I heard good things about the camera as well as the app. I also installed their Vantrue micro SD and have had zero issues. Camera set up was quick and simple with lots of settings to fit what you like. For all the features you get it's a great price compared to other brands. Overall very happy!

Whilst I had an issue with the E2 camera around 10 months from purchase the after service was fantastic!, they shipped a replacement which arrived in a few days, which in turn was an upgrade to the E3 Dashcam, Well done Vanture, exceeded my expectations.
I have really enjoyed being a Vantrue dashcam customer. Within a month of owning my dashcam, I was in a car accident that was the fault of another driver. The video footage from the dashcam helped me quickly resolve the insurance claim. I was so thankful to have clear video footage of the incident. Also, when I was having difficulty upgrading the firmware on the unit, Roxanne from Vantrue Customer Service, kindly and patiently helped me resolve the issue so that I'm now back on track. The Vantrue customer service is terrific! I highly recommend this product for both the quality and customer service.
Camera would not read 4 different cards from 32 to 256 Gb. None of them would format on the camera or be read by a computer formatted (FAT32). I kept getting SD Card Error. I worked with Vantrue support for a month and they wanted me to get the latest firmware but I couldn’t if the camera was unable to see any sort of drive space.
The E2 Dashcam has been great so far. The little remote it comes with is very cool and the interface is simple and easy. I actually originally had the X4S dashcam but after running into problems with it, Vantrue Customer service was superb and was able to send me a replacement and an upgrade. Thank you for the great service. Time will tell how the E2 holds up but so far its been great.
This is my 2nd review so for more details please read the first one... Cables could be a little better, they should all come in 90 degree angle, I am referring to the hard wiring kit, surprisingly the plug in socket comes in a 90 degree angle, but not the hard wiring kit.I got 2 cameras, one came with black double sided tape, the other one with gray, not a big deal, but i do prefer black, also as a side note I ordered with the 5 stages hard wiring kit and the cable arrived about 2 weeks after I received the cable.Still by far the best dash camera! I already got 3 other friends into buying one as well!
Hi, Its been quite a while since I been using Vanture E2 with Vantrue microSD Card and CPL. It is a bit unpleasant that quite frequently, it is missing to record videos. I have been using Vantrue microSD Card, hence, I cannot blame the SD card incompatibility. I have reformatted my SD card a couple of times, even then the problem persists. You can see videos with timestamp 12:15 and 12:20 & 12:21 are missing. Unfortunately, the main purpose of the dash cam is not being met.
I have it for year. Works perfect, but after one year whole camera is distorted, plastic is melted. It was running on normal condition, in Europe, so maximal outside temp 37 degrees Celsius. It supposed withstand more than 80 degrees Celsius in car,but I think it is not the case.
