Both cameras connected on the first attempt. The monitor always displays a split screen when turned on, but you can quickly change it to single camera mode if desired. The buttons and menus are easy to operate, although I wish the volume had buttons on the monitor itself. It is quick to change volume in the menu, but I would prefer to have independent access to the feature. The daytime display is crisp and the night vision is clear. I am very satisfied with the camera quality. The pan and tilt and zoom work as expected. The two-way talk is a handy feature to have and I find myself using it a bit with my toddler. We are very satisfied with the performance of this monitor and would recommend it to anyone that needs two (expandable to four) spaces they need monitored over a secure, private network.

My initial product was purchased from my baby registry on Amazon, after about 6 months of use without a single issue the kickstand on my monitor broke off, I was still able to use the unit but something was rattling around in the monitor and I didn’t want that to cause and issue long term. I reached out to the company and they quickly sent me a replacement which made me very happy, nothing is better than good customer service and a company that stand behind their product. When I reached back out to Lance to say this did not help but in fact made things worse he said the problem must be defective but there wasn’t anything further he could do to help me, I need to contact Amazon. This is absolutely ridiculous!! They replaced the original item that came from Amazon with a defective product and now think it’s no longer their problem. If you can say this item that came directly from our company to replace your item that was functioning properly is defective you would think they would replace it since this is their mistake but nope! I had reached out again to get clarification as to why this is an Amazon issue when this product I am having issues with was not the Amazon product but a unit that came directly from the company and I am still waiting for a response. The unfortunate thing is so many people recommended this product and as noted I initially was very pleased but this situation I am currently in is ridiculous! Wouldn’t really give the item 5 stars but clearly you can’t get a review approved if it’s below a 4 star rating, no way that many people are overly pleased and not a single person has a bad thing to say.

The Vava Evolve is truly the best baby monitor I've ever used. It's so versatile and was the easiest to set up by far, the cameras are so easy to place where you want and their features are amazing. There's full rotation, zoom, night vision 2 way talking, IR LED, light sensor technology, pan and tilt up to 270 degrees horizontally. The video quality is amazing as well no matter the light. Good and bad

I love this baby monitor so it's unfortunate I have to write this review. About a month after we began using this monitor, the charging cable seemed to get a short. We would have to wiggle the cord just right for it to stay fully connected, otherwise it would not charge. If you’re mounting the camera close to a wall outlet, you’ll be fine, but otherwise you may want to pickup a longer power cable. The power cable for the camera itself is a standard micro-USB cable, so finding a longer replacement wouldn’t be difficult if needed.The video quality is fine. It’s exactly what I would expect out of a 720p camera. If you think having a high resolution video is important, it may be worth doing a side by side comparison with some 1080p or 4K cameras to determine if this 720p is the best for you.For what it’s designed to be though, the VAVA baby monitor delivers, and I’m overall very satisfied.

Perfect Camera

I’ve used the Vava Split Screen Baby Monitor for about a month now. I find that it does everything I need it to do. The display is large, easy to hold, and well made. The camera pans and zooms in rather far so I can see my children well, even if one of them sneaks out of bed and starts playing elsewhere in the room. I can even easily talk to them through the monitor if one if them does get up through and ask them to go back to bed which they do. I like being able to see both children at the same time, or easily switch to looking at one at a time. Buttons/menu options are easy to figure out and I’d say are pretty intuitive. I like using it and recommend it to parents who have to keep an eye on one child- or multiple.

The best monitor system we have ever used

We have a toddler in one bedroom and an infant in another. We love this monitor system. It came with 2 cameras and 1 handheld viewer. The handheld monitor has a large display and you can zoom in if you need to. There is very little lag, and the sound is sharp and clear. We have air purifiers in both rooms and they can get a little noisy on the high speeds, but this monitor has no trouble hearing over the sounds it makes. However, in sleep mode, you can hear the audio input all the time.” If you are deaf- you will not know your baby is crying because it will not light up on the parent monitor. I did not have luck with customer service through their company.
