I bought this system about 9months ago starter kit added 2 door sensors, 1 additional motion, outdoor siren, 2 outdoor cameras and 1 indoor camera for my cottage. The system does not work without internet connection even if your device is on the same network. The system is fairly easy to install but I had problems with 2 of the cameras. Initially upon installing one of the outdoor cameras I had to repeat the installation process several times to get it to be recognized by the system. Support is by email and I have not been able to reconnect the indoor HD camera for several months. I have spent hours repeating the process of pairing and resetting the camera many times. Veho support initially told me to return to staples and misled me to pursue that return even though ... MoreI bought this system about 9months ago starter kit added 2 door sensors, 1 additional motion, outdoor siren, 2 outdoor cameras and 1 indoor camera for my cottage. After a few months of emails back and forth I have been ghosted by veho email support and now well past the return period for staples.I wanted an all in one security with cameras system but ended up with an expensive clunky system that does not work great for either. Cameras are not feature rich and eventually stop working and/or are highly resistant to installation and proper function. In my experience Nest and Tapo cameras work much better for ease of installation, notifications and recognizing motion. Support is not helpful/non-existent and unable to resolve my issues.

Pros: Easy set upCons: No external camera available for this system. Proper let down. Bought it because I thought the camera was external. My expensive mistake.

Pros: Very well designed. I am only just starting to replace my 30 year old system so it's early days but your system looks just right.

Easy to setup, good starter kit but if you want to cover most windows and doors in your house you'll have to buy a lot more sensors which will end up being quite expensive. I wish a camera was included in the starter kit as well but it can be purchased as an extra and any accessories easily added via a QR code.
