Delivered quickly. Great price in the sale as Vejay’s are a bit overpriced Love the look, quality and colour of these trainers. Description says extra white but these and the black V’s are actually a bit of a yellow white. True to size. Haven’t worn yet.

Disappointed

I wanted to love these so much. So cute online and after reading the reviews I was prepared for the work to break in and make them mine. After wearing around the house on and off for several days I could not break them in. Stiff is an understatement, heavy and very warm. I felt like I had blocks on my feet. I normally wear a 7 and purchased the 38. It was still a little big but knew a full size down would not work. I knew the tongue would be stiff and a bit long so I tried all the tips other reviews suggested. I pulled it to the side, wore socks, bent it back and forth, nothing worked. There is no cushion in these either. After several days of trying, I just couldn’t make them work.

Great looking casual wear sneakers.

The VAEJA Campo Trainers are perfect for casual wear and are comfortable. The tongue and heal are slightly padded so did not rub without socks. They go well with jeans, wide legged trousers and dresses. I wouldn’t wear these on long walks as there isn’t any arch support but are perfect as a casual shoe.

Great shoes!

I tried them on along with other Veja styles at another store before purchasing on line through Altitude. I'm not sure if there was an update, but the ones I received are perfect. The pair I tried in store had a longer, stiffer tongue that was uncomfortable. These were comfortable right out of the box and lighter than I expected. I ordered my usual size 37 and they are true to size. Waiting for the snow to melt to wear them often. Happy I went with the Campo over the V10 as the latter was sportier and not the look I was going for. Very pleased with my purchase!

I should have listened to my mum...

For the last year or so my mum told me to get Vejas, I didn't listen, I wish I had. These are so comfy!!! I have a strong heel strike, so very often wear down the insoles or soles of shoes, and so far these have lasted and not shown any signs of wearing down! Yes they take a couple of days wear to ease in being leather, but they are worth it.

Love it!

I've been trying to reduce significantly my belongings and this sneakers is the perfect one to be "the only one" on my closet. It's gorgeous, high quality, fair trade and confortable. It's stiff in the beginning and needs to be broke in. So don't worry if it feels uncomfortable when you first try it on. It runs big. I'm usually a 5 or 5.5 but bought a size 4 and if fits perfectly.

Small fitting

I ordered these as the reviews said they were small fitting and everyone said how comfortable they were. I found them small fitting and not very comfortable. Annoying that I couldn’t exchange them in store so even though I paid £6.99 for delivery to store I still had to pay £4.95 to return. I wouldn’t order again, too much hassle.

Stylish

It's hard to answer the question whether it runs true to size. I think the Veja size chart is a bit off because a EU 35 usually translates to a US5 (Veja size chart says it's a US4) but it fits like a US 5 on me. My feet are actually a US 4 to 4.5 so these are about a 1/2 to 1 size too big for me which I was expecting. I will be putting a cushioning insole in them to make them smaller (as that's what I always have to do) and more comfy. They are stiff and not flexible right out of the box , like they don't conform or mold to your feet. ie. no shape to them. The insole isn't cushiony but they're not uncomfortable. I wore them around the house for a day to break them in. I'm sure once the leather softens it'll mold to my feet better. Honestly I bought them just because they're an environmentally friendly company and it's all the rage now but the quality doesn't appear to be any better than a pair of Stan Smiths which would probably cost half as much. Altitude sports is great for carrying inclusive sizes. I hope that'll never change. Most stores like REI or Sporting Life start at a size 6.

I bought these for work as i have a few pairs of vejas so knew they would be comfy. I needed something that looked smart but fashionable and would go with white as well as cream outfits. The soles bring together lots of outfits and mean they stay clean which is a massive bonus when you want a smart look. Super comfy too! Great buy!

Too small (and stiff)

I normally wear a 5. I have read conflicting reviews that these run big so I thought I would try a 35 (4). These were too small, so I would say these are true to size.One thing to note is that the shoe is very stiff. Not sure how comfortable these would be.
