VELUX sun tunnels for pitched roofs are designed to provide natural light into corridors, stairwells, bathrooms and cupboards, under pitched roofs, where installation of a VELUX roof window is not possible. What a transformation! Our dark stairs and landing is now light thanks to the sun tunnel! Delivered in a few days, the tunnel was very easy to install, a day of modifying joists and rafters and a day to fit the tunnel. I had some problems getting the securing ring to fit and I think this was due to having some bunching of the flexible tunnel at the diffuser, it was very short so I'd recommend trying to ensure the tunnel is vertical by the time it comes through the ceiling. Definitely recommend this product, unlikely to find a product so cheap and easy to fit that makes such a difference to your home.

Purchased the velux over cheaper skylight, disappointed by the quality of light and that you can see the flexible tube quite easily through sides and the diffuser
My installer was most impressed by the product and we are delighted by the result and the amount of light that gets in to our small en-suite bathroom. We keep trying to find the switch to put out the new, very neat, light!!

When you see how these simple tunnel are manufactured by Velux, you always know that what you get is what it says on the tin! Great additional light to a room for a reasonable cost.
Beware!!! Lowes has incorrect information in the description of this product! This is for the 14 inch sun tunnel. Velux does not make a flexible extension that fits the 10". There is nothing wrong with the product, it looks great, but Lowes has the information wrong.
