Venum Challenger 3.0 Boxing Gloves - Black/ White

The gloves had many dark streaks, but they were easy to wipe off. The gloves also seemed to have small particles underneath the surface on a lot of the top of the glove that give it an un-smooth surface. There were also loose thread ends in the seam on the outside of the glove beneath the thumb on either glove. Each of these issues were superficial and not detrimental to the integrity of the glove. Except for the particles under the surface that I fear with time and use may wear a hole but they are not made to be aesthetically efficient so I am overall happy with this product for now.

Excellent for Boxing Gloves

I am doing a review on the Venum Challenger 2.0 Kids Boxing Gloves. My grandkids love these. First of all, they are very cool looking. The snake pattern is more of a tribal pattern look to me on the cuff. Any child would appreciate a snake on the gloves. They seem to be made very well. The stitching is very tight and close together. They come with an extra wide cuff and an extra long cuff for your child's protection and comfort. It gives your wrist the extra support that it needs. It has a very tight velcro closure on it. It fits very snugly. They are lightweight despite the amount of padding that they have in them. They are made with a triple-layered shock absorbing foam. This is so they can handle heavy punches. These gloves are made for heavy training. Your child can hit the punching bags hard without feeling much on their hands. There is mesh on the palm to keep you cool and comfortable. There are also very tiny holes in the thumb. This is to allow air circulation and to keep you cool and dry. If there is not enough ventilation the gloves will stink from your child's hands sweating. This will help prevent that. The weight of the gloves is on the left side of the cuff. The weight of these gloves is 8 ounces. These gloves are made for kids. These gloves are for children weighing between 81 to 100 pounds. My grandson weighs 91 pounds so this is correct. It fits him perfectly. When you order these make sure you order by their weight or they will be too big or too small. I highly recommend these gloves for boxing.

Great for Small and Large Wrists

I am impressed by how nice these gloves are. They are durable and look stylish. Not to mention the Venum logo adds a bit of fierceness. Being a women with small wrists, I was hoping to find some gloves for our basement punching bag that would be a comfortable fit. These fit perfect. I was able to adjust the velcro straps to fit my wrists. The inside has a good amount of cushion for breaking the impact of your hand on the bag. I’m not a boxer or athlete but I do use our basement gym area daily. Adding the punching bag with these Venum gloves has been a fun addition to my workouts. The kids are enjoying them too. Overall, personally for me, I do not find myself using these pair of gloves often. Just because I find them way too massive and bulky, which kind of hinders my ability to punch my kickboxing heavy bog. But, I still recommended these gloves anyway, because I can see how these gloves might be really helpful for those who are bigger in size (therefore bigger hands). For regular (recreational) boxing, I do not really recommend these gloves. But if you are training for legit kickboxing competitions (like you take kickboxing really seriously), then I definitely recommend these gloves instead.

These are good value boxing gloves. At 12oz (and at the value), they’re great as an all-purpose glove for both bagwork and sparring. They’re rounded at the top, so it’s a bit more forgiving on the hands if you miss the target (or hit at an angle…). The cuff is long enough to protect some of the forearm for me (don’t know about other’s preferences). It is always hard to gauge the fit of a new pair of boxing gloves. It takes some time to break them in as well. You know, getting used to the way they feel, the way they hit, the way it wraps around your hands and fists, and stuff like that. The venum boxing gloves are made of synthetic leather. They include triple density foam for better shock absorption. They are 16oz. They have a breathable mesh interior. They have large Velcro band with elastic to help with a better fit. The gloves are solid black and overall have a nice look to them. They are well made and have held up well thus far. They included a storage bag however it’s difficult to get the bag zipped once the gloves are in it. We have used these with a punching bag and they work good for that. Overall a good quality product that has a stylish look to it. We have not experienced any problems with hands sweating during use. I recommend to anyone needing boxing gloves.
