There are many types CDs or DVDs out there, but they all different quality. If you a professional, I suggest the Azo, just hold one on your hand andcompare the weight to another type on your other hand.I have tested the Azos under hot boiling water and cold water too.I glad I was able to find the Azos here at Walmart.Easy to order on line, and a good price.I

Verbatim DVD with AZO technology far superior to all the bargain brands. DO NOT BUY Verbatim "Life series". Not nearly as good as Verbatim with AZO technology.I have used probably over 600 of these and coaster percentage is between 1% and 2% that is the fault of the DVD not the drive. My last order was for four containers of 50 packs. Was cheaper than two containers of the 100 packs. Order arrived for pick up at the store two or three days BEFORE estimated date. Very impressive. Again, order the Verbatim with AZO technology - NOT the "Life" or "DataLIfeplus".

I have used several thousand of these with excellent results. I have seen one percent or less failures. I have almost a thousand in stock in the closet and will be ordering more. These are my preferred brand for recordings so I watch and buy in quantity when they are on sale. A fantastic bargain. I do not even consider cheaper discs as they have not worked as well. These are real value.
Luckily I've never had a bad experience with a disc from any brand, even the cheapest. Failures were the fault of the burner or the software. So far I've never had a disc become unreadable over time, and I've been burning for over a decade. I hope that remains true. I know Verbatim makes good discs and this is a great price. Too bad I had to order them to get that price. Cheaper than Walmart sells Memorex discs in their stores. Cheaper even than I could get any brand anywhere in town.
But found that Kodak and the brand that starts with "Im" had a failure rate of fifteen percent (one out of seven disks were coming up as bad). Now THIS brand I seem to have had only six percent of the disks have failed.Clearly quality is an issue with all of them, but this brand seems to be the best of the Walmart brands - unless you wish to pay more than TRIPLE the cost!In conclusion, you have a very cheap disk that has a very good success rate - making it one I will buy over and over again.BUY THIS BRAND. Accept the failure rate, or pay three times the cost of the 'better disks'... and you will still run into a bad one every once in awhile anyhow.
I have been purchasing blank DVDs for many years, and always found a few duds in every pack that were no good, and had to be thrown out. What a waste. This is my third time purchasing Verbatim brand, and every single dvd has been good. This makes me very happy, and I highly recommend this brand. They are good quality and a very good price. I will only buy Verbatim brand. You can set them to record 2,4, or even 8 hours with good quality.. I transfer home video to DVD.
I have been buying these for a few years now after I bought a new printer from B&H that will print disc labels. These disc burn flawlessly and I've never had issues with these or any other types of Verbatim discs. B&H ships fast and they treat their customers well. Don't hesitate to do business with them.
I bought two sets of blank DVD by Verbatim, one set was -R and the other was +R. I attempted to burn some movies onto them and I keep getting a a write error and the disc was no longer usable. I attempted burning the same videos using different settings and got nowhere. I even tried to burn these videos with Windows 10 and got the same results. I use BurnAware to do my DVDs and I tried burning an ISO file using both UDF and ISO and the same result, a write error. I had my DVD/CD rom checked out and nothing is wrong with it. I have used Memorex with no problem. I can't return the Verbatim discs because too many was lost on past burns and Walmart won't take them so I am out about $70 with discs that are WORTHLESS! I'll stick with Memorex!
I just received these in the mail today. The picture on the web site clearly shows what I would typically expect for a stack of 50 discs, a plastic covered spindle wrapped by the shrink wrap with all of the marketing information on it.. In reality, what I received was a pile of 50 discs in a shrink wrapped label. No spindle to be found... Heck, I know that when many people buy 50 discs at a time they refer to it as a spindle... so it clearly in most minds should have a spindle.Does someone at Verbatim really think that people want to deal with 50 loose discs when they open the packaging? This would only be acceptable if one was going to burn all discs immediately, which for most people is not the case. This would only be acceptable if one was going to burn all discs immediately, which for most people is not the case. We need packaging designed to keep the discs clean and safe until they are used. But wait, I would have only subtracted a star or two and used an old spindle from some discs I could consolidate, but it gets worse... The box I received showed no signs of rough handling or damage, but inside the box was a pile of loose disks that seem to have simply slipped out of the shrink wrapped label. Due to the fact that I am very careful about keeping dust off my discs to ensure a clean write of data, I consider these unusable and have no confidence in them.I will be seeking a replacement, but since my local BB doesn't carry this item, I will probably just get a refund, and it will unfortunately cost me money and/or gas to do it.I have had confidence in the Verbatim brand since the days when I used 5.25" floppies, no company is perfect, but they have been affordable and pretty reliable... However, it seems like they are going too cheap on the packaging. If they correct the packaging to reflect what is displayed, I would probably recommend this product, but as it stands, I cannot.
