I bought two of Verbatim Store and Go V3 16GB USB flash drives. Very robust and sturdy with built-in protection for USB connector. Allowing you also to put the drive on a key ring. The drive is also version 3.0 and also backward compatible to version 2.0. These Verbatim drives rely on very little built-in software. This means they can be used on any PC, TV, Laptop, or Cars that contain the USB connection. Any device containing USB 2.0 or 3.0. I used my USB drives only to make a back of my New Computer Hard Recovery Drives so 16GB is ample amount of storage for Windows 10 Recovery. Well worth the buy.

A little research goes a long way regarding these drives. This one didn't list it's speed, but Verbatim is a very trustworthy brand which is why I chose it over the competition. To unlock the full capacity go to MyComputer>Right Click Flash Drive>Format>Select "File System" to NTSF and other options should be Default I believe. This will allow you go use about 60 gigs on it. Also to increase transfer speeds you can enable "Write Caching". My Computer>Right Click On Drive>Properties>Hardware>FlashDrive>Properties>Policies>Optimize For Performance. This should increase transfer speeds a bit(however I didn't test yet). This feature however in return forces you to "Safely Remove Drive" to prevent data loss. I personally pack it with Bluray Rips, and entire seasons of TV Shows, then plug it into my HDTV which accepts USB, and play them right off the drive. Works flawless. Just one of the many reason's I bought it. Although my PC is connected to my HDTV, it's nice to just transfer a weeks worth of watching or more onto the drive, and turn the pc off to save electric. Overall it's just an exceptional product and I highly recommend it. I will do an actual speed test later this week and post results for all as Verbatim hasn't actually stated the speeds of this drive.

Pros: Capacity of space, more than enough for mp3s.Depending on size of photos, more than enough I would presume. That is my opinion.Cons: Very light, feels a bit inadequate.Has a push , pull, in ,out plastic usb protecter, so when not in use, pull the plastic nob back and the USB goes into its holder, and vice verser.I find when I want to use it, and push into usb, either in car or pc, it constantly contracts back into itself, very frustrating. So not sure on longevity of the product with this problem, as I've not had ot that long.So these are problems I'm having. Overall not bad, had worse. It's good, not fantastic.

Since my last 32GB USB drive was broken 5 years ago, I thought of buying a replacement many times. Before buying every time I asked myself, "do I really need it?" No. I could use my phone with a USB cable to serve as a USB drive; I could use my MP3 player; I could use Google Drive; I could use email; I could use SFTP... But last time I forgot to ask myself this question, so now I have a USB Drive...
Excellent quality drive. Robust, quick to load and reliable. Very pleased with it. Can use it across Mac and PC operating systems with no problems.
It’s a working USB drive, what more can I say really? Pleased with it (especially because I got it on sale, usually this would’ve cost a fair bit more!) I like the slide mechanism to protect the port.Heads up, 256GB actually equates to 232GB usable storage as there is always a bit of filler, but when you know to expect this it’s fine.
I tested this flash drive on three computers on USB 3 ports, I also tested it on USB 2 ports for comparison purposes. All the tests showed that the drive was performing at less than 9MB/second no matter which port it was connected to. In many cases, my old USB 2 flash drive ran faster than this seller-claimed "USB 3" drive. Very disappointed with this "64G USB 3.0" drive, I went to Costco and bought the Lexar 128GB USB 3.0 flash drive which runs at a minimal 30MB/second speed under the exactly same test conditions! This Verbatim V3 drive does have the 64GB capacity as advertised but it is definitely NOT a USB 3.0 device.
If I could give it a Zero star I would, it's impossible to plug the drive into a USB port, as it keeps sliding back up into the case. I'm going back to using a mobile hard-drive.
bought this 2 weeks ago and plug it in. did not work, tried different ports still don't work. tried format it did not work. tried command prompt did not work, tried speed test did not work, tried usb check for errors did not work. every test I could find I tried. usb did not even recognize it.
