Verizon Prepaid Sim Kit with 3-in-1 Sim (Standard Micro Nano)

I used this to switch my S10 from on a plan to prepaid even though my phone is not paid off yet. It is easy to switch online. Just make a new account, choose prepaid bring your own device, enter in the phone serial number and sim number, and pay for the first month of prepaid service. It worked instantly.

Best deal going with the most reliable service. Can't beat the value. I did have my own equipment. I couldn't activate from my home. I had to go to the store to do it. They did it with little or no problem.What I like the best is that I get everything that the full paying customer gets but protection of not exceeding my data plan, which can get pricey. It comes with 1 g of data. If I should exceed that it turns off. Can't see that happening. Everywhere I go has WiFi and I just connect to it.

Beware - You can't return it if defective

You do not have the option to return this item if it is defective like the one I just got. The one I got was already registered to someone else. I had to get a different one through Verizon, which worked immediately. Beware.

Do not buy this online!!!

I bought this kit online. It was NOT shipped overnight as stated. After I received it, I called to activate and my card was not scanned as it left the warehouse... so it was not operational/locked! I ended up going to an authorized retailer to get a new SIM card anyways and paid extra for the new card and gas to get there and back, plus all the time I wasted on the phone trying to get this all figured out. Skip ordering it online and just go to a store to buy this kit... that way you can make sure it gets scanned.

Easy Way To Recycle A Phone As A Gift

I bought this SIM kit because I wanted to gift my previous phone to someone else. I had just upgraded from a Droid Bionic to a Samsung Galaxy (great phone!) and wanted to give my Droid to a friend who doesn't have a smart phone and is on disability, so he can't afford a regular plan for his family - or the cost of a smartphone.So, for the cost of the first month's prepaid card, Verizon sent me a SIM card that I used to power my Droid, and then handed it over to my friend.The only issue was that the instructions did not indicate that I'd have to phone Verizon for full activation, but that's all it took. One brief phone call and my Droid now has a second life with someone who treasures the phone.Good job, Verizon.

FYI, It's a nano sim with no adapter

I asked the associate in electronics if this would fit my Galaxy S5. He says, "Yes, there's a frame in there. Just pop out the sim and use the holder." There is no holder/adapter. There's just a nano sim that doesn't fit in the GS5 micro sim slot. It even says package contains a "3 in 1" SIM. Fail packaging. Fail assocaite.

Helps Save Money

My contract was out. So I turned off my verizon contact. Took out the contract sim card. Put in the prepaid sim card. Reactivated my phone. Now I'm finally contract free. The cost of the card pays the first month phone bill. Lot cheaper, Still great service, And contract free. Sign up for auto pay and your set up.

SIM card activation

Following the instructions to install the SIM card was simple. It came with an adapter that I needed. The activation procedure did not take long and within a short time I received a notice that my phone was active on the Verizon network.Since I was porting my number to Verizon, I did require more help. The associate at the Verizon store took care of that for me.Overall it was not difficult.

I purchased this to install in the new phone on the same order. Turns out the phone won't work on the Verizon network. So, I have to return the phone and now I find out that this SIM kit is not returnable. That is salt in the wound, especially since you can go to the Verizon store and they will give you one at no charge.
