Versace Dylan Turquoise Pour Femme EDT 100ml

I have loved this since it first came out. It's so fresh and clean smelling. It is a lovely aquatic, citrus fragrance that mellows to a pleasant musk and cedar. I appreciate that the dry down is still light and that the musk isn't overwhelming. The cedar smell blends nicely and reminds me of my childhood surrounded by ocean and cedar trees. My favorite part is definitely the fruity opening. The blend of Mandarin and lemon is powerful and just makes me feel uplifted and happy. The floral notes of freesia and jasmine smell so good. I took one star off because it doesn't last as long as I would like. It tends to disappear from my skin in about 4-5 hours. The price for this bottle is around $110 which I would expect given the luxury brand, size and packaging. This scent is so fresh. I was browsing through Sephora and looking for something summery. I found this and I’m so impressed. I ended up getting it that day which is super unusual for me. It smells so clean and good. It has aqua and citrus notes. It is very light and fades into a sweet smell that I can’t quite describe. I love the initial smell but the faded smell gives me a slight headache. It’s still a gorgeous fragrance and if you have chronic migraines and fragrance sensitivity like me this is a pretty safe option.

I try not to look at the notes of perfumes and just give it to you how I think it smells. Sometimes my descriptions might be a little abstract, but you will pretty much understand where I’m coming from. Versace’s Dylan Turquoise reminds me of driving through states to get to the ocean and that first whiff of the salty air, sometimes it’s mixed with flowers that are planted on the sides of the road. It’s a scent that takes you back to girl trips or for me the forever tomboy that I am. 1 girl and 3 guy trips. It has a fresh and clean smell, that doesn’t over power the body. At least it doesn’t smell overpowering on my skin. I don’t think you’d need to spray this more than once on yourself to get the impact you’re looking for.

I am a fan of Dylan Blue Both Pour Homme and Pour Femme. Since the Pour Homme version is a toilette, I’m comparing that to this. Turquoise smells very lemon and and “clean” but in a good way. It literally makes me think of summer, flowers, and the beach like Man Eai Fraiche. To be a guy and wear this, you will get more compliments then you think. It lasts long but not overpowering like Dylan blue pour Homme when you spray that one. I can see why some female wearers are turned off by this not having much uniqueness like Crystal Noir, but to a guy that doesn’t matter because most guys aren’t gonna be wearing this. It’s true, it’s very generic but that can be a good thing. It’s perfect for literally ANY occasion and not so in your face. Great smell, makes you feel amazing!

I bought this today. I must have asked the assistants in a few shops to spray about 20 different samples onto paper and let them hang around for a bit and then went back to them for a second smell. What a beautiful aroma. Turquoise is the right name for it and a great colour box. Have always been a big fan of Chanel and like Chance Eau Fraiche (but it never lingered for the money paid) and also Coco Madmoiselle. This seems to fit in between the two, because the smell just seemed instantly 'familiar' to me like an old friend. Just take the risk and buy it. You can't go wrong.

Since then, I've spent a good, solid 10 days w/this juice at the time I'm writing this. I really like this fragrance. It's what I consider to be a medium strength, leaning strong(er) perfume. Not beast mode such as Montale/Mancera, but I give it respect regardless. Meaning that When I'm testing or wearing this fragrance, I give it 10-15 minutes to somewhat dry & settle down on my skin (or paper) before I inhale its beauty. So patience is key. But when you finally get to smell this yum yum juice, it will all be worth the wait! DYLAN TURQUOISE Is an aquatic, somewhat airy fragrance (imagine yourself alone on a beach, feet in the soft sand, beautiful sunset, staring out into the big BLUE sea. OR...it's the weekend getaway w/your besties that you've been counting down for. Y'all are hanging out by the large, very clean, very BLUE, VERY inviting pool, sipping Rita's, while checking out the lifeguard. And girl, you're feeling so confident because you smell so goooood! (and maybe that 3rd margarita is hittin just right 😎) and with the encouragement of your lady friends, you decide to mosey on over in your TURQUOISE bikini to introduce yourself! Conclusion....Dinner at 8. He's calling to make the reservations! 🙌 Mission accomplished. DT is rounded out just a bit with some citrus, & a teenier weenier sweetness from flowers, helping it to not be too sharp. I Consider this a woman's fragrance verging on unisex. It's like they took a mans fresh, blue fragrance and said, let's just soften the edges and sweeten it JUST enough. And they succeeded. It comes in a beautiful bottle & the atomizer is very nice. The dry down on me, has been very clean smelling and I just love getting little whiffs of my clean, yummy self throughout the day. You don't need to apply a lot. Wear time total is about 8.hrs. I would say you'll have good projection and silage about the first 3.5-4hours. Over the next hour (or so) it becomes more of a skin scent (but stays pretty strong on skin for another 2+,hours), and then fades to a very light, sweet, powdery sent (which is lovely), not to be confused with baby powder (not the vibe here). If I had to say an age that would appreciate this scent, I'm going to say mid to late 20's & up. It needs a bit of a strong, confident, 'knows how to carry herself' kind of woman. This is not a sweet tart teen girl scent. It's not an elite club, but we'll just say you need to be invited!

This would be fitting for class or getting brunch with friends without being too much, but can also be worn on a night out as a scent thats cheerful and easygoing. However, if Im going to an event thats more serious or elegant, I would probably reach for something else YSL Libre. I think its best for summer and spring, but again, is versatile in its warmer notes and would be ok in cold conditions too.I might be kind of picky, but I struggle finding something that is sweet, but not sugarcandy type sweet lightbright but not unnoticeable fresh but not too soapy, fruity but not fruit punch or warmwoodsy but not too mature or at all powdery. If you relate, this might work for you like it did for me Everyones skin reacts differently but I think its pretty inoffensive.
