Wish I loved it, but not for me. I rated Versace Eros Pour Femme EDP 3 stars because I don't like the fragrance, but it's 5 stars on quality. My Top 2 perfumes are Versace, so I thought I would love Eros, based on the description of lemon blossom, mandarin and other fresh notes. To/on me, it smells like Raid bug spray. :( I'm returning it unopened, because I happened to be in Macy's, where I was able to test the EDP while my order was in transit. I gave the fragrance three hours before I had to wash it off. Eros EDP goes on boldly (pungent to me) and stays on very well. It was still solidly in the mid-notes at 3 hours, with no change since the top notes dissipated. This is consistent with Versace Bright Crystal Absolu EDP. Love it, but it doesn't last long on, so take an atomizer with you to refresh. Bright Crystal Absolu EDP is juicy fresh with bright floral notes and it has very good staying power. I get tons of compliments from men on the Absolu. Both are great fragrances for day and dates, if you don't want to go full bombshell.

I love the option of being able to try it in a small vial. I can’t justify buying a whole travel size with the risk of not liking the fragrance. This allowed me to try so many other fragrances without breaking the bank! And this fragrance is very mature, but not old lady smelling. Very fruity, floral, airy, and long lasting! It’s a summer vacation vibe. Thank you Fragrance Net!

I did a blind buy of this after reading reviews stating that the Eau de Toilette was a little lighter and sweeter than the Eau de Parfum. I'm glad I took the risk!The initial smell is dominated by bright citrus notes accompanied by the sweetness of berries while calone makes everything airy and crisp. Florals (magnolia, jasmine) then peek through to add a slight feminine feel, but orange blossom keeps it grounded. However, if I'm going to an event that's more serious or elegant, I would probably reach for something else (YSL Libre?). I think it's best for summer and spring, but again, is versatile in it's warmer notes and would be ok in cold conditions too.I might be kind of picky, but I struggle finding something that is sweet, but not sugar/candy type sweet; light/bright but not unnoticeable; fresh but not too soap-y, fruity but not fruit punch; or warm/woodsy but not too mature or at all powdery. If you relate, this might work for you like it did for me! Everyone's skin reacts differently but I think it's pretty inoffensive.

Genuinely one of the greatest perfumes e-vah! However, please know I'm speaking of the Eau de Toilette version, NOT Parfum. I sincerely don't know why, but the Parfum is SO much different than Toilette. I had purchased Eros Femme Toilette for years and when I asked my husband to get me a new bottle for Christmas, he obviously went hard-core and purchased Parfum (thinking Toilette was a downgrade maybe?). Needless to say, I was certain it was a fake until he said he purchased it from Macy's. During my hunt to uncover, "What Gives?"I finally realized there's just a difference in scent... well, for me anyway. STILL a fan!! Amazing product!!
I tried the EDT in my local sephora and absolutely fell in love! I lean more towards the fruity floral scents with all of my perfumes and I've been using the yellow diamond for years and always got so many compliments and so when I smelled this one it had me hooked right away. it's more on the sweet fruity side so if ur looking for a more floral scent then I'd go with the EDP but both smell good I just prefer this one. Only downside is that it doesn't last as long on the skin as I'd like but I believe that's what u get when u get the toilette over the other one. Still love it tho and just purchased the big bottle!
This was always my signature scent, I’ve been wearing it for years!!! I recently bought a new bottle, it doesn’t smell the same unfortunately. I’m only giving it 4 stars because of the love I had for it before the reformulation. Why would they do that ughhh it’s not bad, it’s just not the same. Bummer. I’ll still wear it and pair with another perfume.
I’m a major fragrance enthusiast. This is one of my favorites. It smells rich, pretty, and sophisticated. It last on me all day. Careful not to use too much.Keep this in mind. Reviews are to help you make a decision. But, sometimes they can be misleading. I’ve learned to try and get a sample if you can instead of relying on reviews to make the decision for you to blind buy. Also, I must say, when you read people say, the smell doesn’t last, in MOST cases, you become nose blind to your scent. I do, because I can’t tell you how many times, I get compliments on my scent when I can’t smell it anymore! I think to myself, wow they can still smell it? THIS is that fragrance that last.
I've been using the edp as my work fragrance for about a year now & wanted to try the edt. It's definitely a softer, more fruity scent. I saw a review that said it smells like a raspberry lemonade & that is spot on. I only enjoy it after the dry down, before that it is just way too sweet for me & not as "clean" as the edp. May just use as an 'around the house' fragrance as it doesn't linger very long either. If you're into the youthful, sweet, playful scents go with the edt. If you want something fresh, longer lasting, & sophisticated go with the edp. Hope this helps!
eros was my first experience with versace. i fell in love with this scent right away, it s still my favorite. i constantly get compliments all the time about how good i smell. my next purchase was yellow diamonds, then crystal noir, bright crystal absolute and i am waiting for my dylan turquoise to arrive. thanks My Perfume Shop for keeping it affordable. i do wear other brands of perfume however versace is my number one go to.
